Magic Johnson is allegedly interested in buying the team.

 

To be honest this whole thing has gone full retard. Everyone knew Sterling was a POS before this and like Hurl said, there are equivalent racist things happening all over pro sports that no one seems to care.

 

Whoever buys this team is going to be proclaimed a savior of sorts and that just rubs me the wrong way. I know what Sterling said was f***ed in the head, but there is no need for Magic or Oprah to jump in this head first to buy this team they are going to be made out to be saviors of the clippers.

Soon there will be a merchandise with some logo/slogan that shows how much everyone cares, followed by some touchy video, and in 10 years a movie about the players who went against the odds and played for a racist owner.

Well I know Magic wanted a team before all of this happened. He bought into the latest group that purchased the warriors and only ended up selling his stake because he felt the share was to small and wasn't worth the commitment unless he had a larger say in the organization.

 

Oprah can f*** off though, youre right

If Lowry is recovered from the pounding he took last game, we win tonight.

 

I think this is going to go a full 7 games though. Both teams are very evenly matched.

Yeah 7 games seems very likely. The Raps have to win tonight though at home. Need to take advantage of home court.

The whole conversation is extremely weird. It's almost like he just thinks society is extremely racist, not necessarily racist himself. Mayweather actually sort of defended him today.

Ah wanted to go to the game tonight, though nobody to go with. Was looking for single seats on StubHub - could have got row 31 in sec 101 for $254 but oh well. Definitely will try for Game 7. Heading down to Jurassic Park for Game 6 though this Friday!

If Ross struggles from the field he struggles, but if he can play defense like that the whole game and not start chucking then it really doesn't matter.
