backontop Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 2012 - Red Sox 2011 - Orioles 2010 - Orioles 2009 - Orioles 2008 - Orioles 2007 - Devil Rays 2006 - Devil Rays 2005 - Devil Rays 2004 - Blue Jays 2003 - Devil Rays 2002 - Devil Rays 2001 - Devil Rays 2000 - Devil Rays 1999 - Devil Rays 1998 - Devil Rays 1997 - Blue Jays 1996 - Tigers 1995 - Blue Jays 1994 - Tigers 1993 - Brewers 1992 - Red Sox 1991 - Indians 1990 - Yankees 1989 - Tigers 1988 - Orioles 1987 - Indians 1986 - Orioles 1985 - Indians 1984 - Brewers 1983 - Indians 1982 - Indians Last Place Finishes in last 31 years: Devil Rays: 9 Orioles: 6 Indians: 5 Tigers: 3 Blue Jays: 3 Brewers: 2 Red Sox: 2 Yankees: 1 Now those are STATS worth looking at. You could bring Mark Wilner to tears. But that has been the Blue Jays goal the past 20 years at least, to play and fool Canada fans into thinking they are good. So good they didn't finish in last place. Which in hockey is a reward to the playoffs. Some Canadians just don't get it, in baseball you have to be good to get into the playoffs.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 *IF* the Blue Jays could take 3/4 at home against Boston (quite possible. We do well against Biston anyway and we will not face Lackey or Bucholtz) the AL East race would be very tight. Only 6 games would separate us from Boston and we might pass someone in the process. As it stands things are tightening up:
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I wouldn't be surprised if it was any of the 5.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 It amazes me how the Yankees's record is as good as it is. So lucky.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 It amazes me how the Yankees's record is as good as it is. So lucky. It's our fault the Yankees are over .500
flafson Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 It's our fault the Yankees are over .500 It reminds me reading the O's forum, they said that the only reason the Yankees are that high is because they are 9-1 against us while being terrible against everyone else. People there had no idea how come Yankees own us so much.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 It's our fault the Yankees are over .500 It is and if we played better against the yanks we would be close to first place now..................Losing in the division like that really hurts.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I really, really hope the Orioles finish last. I hate how arrogant their fanbase has become.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 It amazes me how the Yankees's record is as good as it is. So lucky. Their expected record is 38-39 lol. I hate the Yankees.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 It amazes me how the Yankees's record is as good as it is. So lucky. They have a negative run differential so "should" be under .500. But they're won a s*** ton of one run games. That and their 8-1 record against the Jays is keeping them afloat.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
