He has added another pitch, and I agree he probably won't keep it up, but morrow has stunk, prob not much difference at this point.

It's like Dickey said a week ago. Theres some guys who can only pitch when there 100% and then theres others who man up and take the ball even when not feeling perfect. At this point these injuries with Morrow arent a fluke thing and its obvious the guy is made of glass or extremely soft.

If we go into next season counting on Morrow anymore than we can count on McGowan, I'm gonna freak.

I've given up on morrow at this point. His stuff didn't look as filthy this year either in my opinion.

He does seem to be mentally soft with his up and down swings from inning to inning.

That's stupid. Either you have an injury you can pitch through or you don't. Either you are a guy who throws 80 MPH and you can pitch through more injuries or you're not.

Damn. That's not good to hear. At least Happ is starting to throw bullpen sessions. I'd try to keep him on the DL as long as possible until we need another starter either due to regression from Wang or Rogers or an injury.

Do you guys think Hutchison will be able to come back around August? I can't remember at what point he opted for surgery last year and if I recall it can take anywhere from 8 months to more than a year to come back.
