Currently, Lind sports a .411 wOBA, 2nd among all 1Bs and ahead of beasts like Joey Votto, Goldschmidt, and Fielder. How the f*** did that happen?

Lol at Chris Davis. Seriously, what... the... f***. wOBA of .454 and wRC+ of 191. That's disgusting.

You answered your own question. It's off like 15 AB's or something

Chad Matolla!

Actually I think this is a big part of it. Mottola changed Lind's stance and made him more upright and balanced. He's staying on everything well (even against lefties WTF?) and using the whole field. This is the Adam Lind we saw in 2009, but with an even better BB rate.

The sample size is indeed small, but he's passing the eye test as far as being a viable hitter against LHP this year, something that was unthinkable coming into the season.

This is what watchint Chris Davis everynight as an Os fan must feel

Watching Chris Davis as a dynasty owner brings tears of joy to my eyes on a weekly basis.

25 at bats....Lind could go 0 for 15 against lefties bringing it up to 40 at bats, which is a bit more material...and he would still be hitting .300. Lind is simply a different hitter.

Lind's balance was just so nice on that HR cut, wow. Last year he had all his weight on his back foot and his weight transfer was slow as f***. He was lunging and pulling off on everything. Goddamn that swing is a thing of beauty when he's confident and seeing the ball well.

I said awhile ago he should start full time, I was laughed at... He has a totally different approach and stance, easy, simple swing, he is on everything. he looks like Olerud when he put it all together. He always had talent to be a great hitter and he is really on fire right now.

If Lind's numbers are legit, it make you wonder how f***ing bad our previous hitting coach mustve been

He was downright awful.

I mean the guy blatently said OBP is useless.
