CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Has been absent for 2-3 games now He missed some games around this time last year as well. He's getting a haircut. Should be another week or so.
JugglingPitches Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 He needed a vacation, because being off 6 months a year isn't enough for him.
Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Don't know and don't care. Devlin is way better.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Don't know and don't care. Devlin is way better. I find him kind of boring... not that I'm pining for Buck
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Has been absent for 2-3 games now The better question is "Can he stay there?"
leaffie Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I do like Morris there though, no matter who is calling the game. Pulls no punches, and has some interesting comments on the pitchers.

Slade Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Morris has been a pretty nice surprise after some of the Twins fans comments. Morris has been really good IMO, whether it's on TV or radio I like hearing what he has to say.
backontop Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Morris is SOLID! Since over 100 games are on channel 22, he should be there all TV games. Why waste him with Mike Wilner? It's 2013, who listens to the games these days? Morris always has good and useful comments. Pat & Buck should be on the radio, Jerry & Morris on TV, but who was that guy doing play-bye-play the past two games. HE WAS GOOD! I have nothing against Buck but the guy the past two games sounded like he should be ABC or CBS or NBC top voice, HE WAS GOOD!
Caper Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Has been absent for 2-3 games now He's getting in shape and will be assigned to Buffalo. Jays will bring him up if Blonco goes down.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 It's 2013, who listens to the games these days? I do all the time, out of necessity. Driving between cities, out running errands, mowing the lawn, etc... I love that I can get a very good radio broadcast and listen in my car or through my iPhone with headphones on, no matter where I am.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 I always liked Howarth and Ashby more than Buck and Tabler. I was upset when Ashby left but I agree Morris has been surprisingly good.
Pizzapops Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Matt strikes me as a Rod Black type, someone that will suddenly start broadcasting everything from basketball to Ping Pong.
