Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I highly doubt Mcgowan will ever pitch 5+ innings in one game out of the bulllpen....and besides..he's on the miracle delabar program...no more injuries! Did I say in one game? I said this year.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Sweet. Would love to see McGowan make it back.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Go Dusty! Really pulling for this guy
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Go Dusty! Really pulling for this guy I posted yesterday they should just get him in buffalo already..lol. I'd bet a decent sum of money that on may 30 mcgowan goes to the big club and lincoln is optioned to Buffalo.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Toronto Blue Jays (MLB) send RHP Dustin McGowan to Buffalo Bisons (AAA) on a rehab assignment
oakville69 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Dustin had another strong outing last night. I hope AA brings him up soon. The Jays need all the bullpen help they can get. http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130518&content_id=47956450&fext=.jsp&vkey=recap&sid=t422
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 I'm trying not to get excited for Dustin but a little part of me is thinking he comes back strong, and for a long time...

It's hard not to root for this guy, he's giving it all he's got. I've been watching some pieces on Minor League Baseball players and it really puts in perspective how hard it is to make it to and stay in MLB and how much can go wrong.

The only reason he isn't with the big club today is because he's not eligible....I'd bet my left nut that he gets recalled as soon as he is eligible, which I believe is may 30. Less than 2 weeks till Dusty is back!
