I think brentz and smoral are at the same point in their careers, just starting off but I don't remember how Sancez did. Brentz has more present velocity then Smoral so there is that

Sanchez made KLaw's top 100 the year following his draft and everyone knew he and Syndergaard were special by early 2011. I'd lump Brentz in with DeJong.

HS lefty with plus velocity but is going to need to develop his secondaries to be successful. Although I don't see a MadBum comp in Brentz as I do in Smoral.
