  1. Didn't notice that TBH as I haven't been coming here all that often. That haven been said, it's still a valid question and the 'age' of the post doesn't give it any more legitimacy.
  2. Do you really need to spread the manure in this thread too? I've managed to ignore the other one, just keep this stuff there please - if this whole thing is supposed to be either smart or witty it fails on both counts.
  3. He has a pretty good chance at cracking the starting rotation sometime this year - what's your likelihood of winning the lottery?
  4. Can't you keep that bkal crap in that one thread so that it's easier to ignore?
  5. Not sure this is a huge issue. I expect that most corporations that deal cross border mitigate currency fluctuations with hedging strategies to limit exposure.
  6. Umm, no, that's assuming that the odds of signing are the same as the odds of not signing. By that same (very faulty) logic, one could say that the odds are 50/50 that I'll win the lottery (either I will or I won't).
  7. Yeah, that should be pretty much "prime of career" territory for a player, not someone just breaking in.
  8. And now Josh Banks has rejoined the organization - as a knuckleballer. Organizational philosophy I guess?
  9. I'd very much doubt that you'd even see Sanchez as a September call-up. He needs to have close to a full season at AA and then possibly a later season call-up to Buffalo. Probably an invite to ST in 2015 but I'd think that AS break of 2015 is about the best that could be hoped for IMO.
  10. You don't understand the concept of a AAAA player?
  11. Any chance you can go back in time and whisper that in AA's ear this time last year?
  12. The cheap part if a really good point. Yeah, he might be able to pick up a #1-#3 through trade or FA but to get two guys who will front the rotation for so cheap would allow them to spend money on other areas. Another good reason not to trade one of them away, as tempting as it might be.
  13. I am totally in agreement that one can't get too attached to any player. I can see though, if he trades one or the other, the vitriol that will be thrown AA's way. Not that that should make a difference to a GM - and I'm not implying that anyone in particular would second guess him. Still, I don't see the reason for trading one of them, if the potential return was enough to put us over the edge, okay, but if he deals one of them, whatever we get back likely isn't going to make that huge of a difference and I just like the thought of both of them in the starting rotation for the next few years. I'm not opposed to him trading anyone at anytime, as long as it's at the right time in the right circumstances.
  14. With all of the troubles that the team has had with consistent arms in the starting rotation, oh boy, it'd be really nice to know that we're "set" for the next few years with at least those two guys in upper half of the rotation.
  15. I'm sure that Sanchez is, but he and Stroman are best buds so I wouldn't expect anything otherwise from Stroman, he's pretty open about supporting his boys, no that there's anything wrong with that.
