I will amend to state the obvious: pointing out weak ass beta behaviour does not make one a beta. Whining because you can't see threads started by people on your IL as if that's a real problem that this poster needs resolved just for him is hilarious. Pointing and laughing is not a crime.

 

The beta has me on IL but if he comes across this, here's your solution: stop being a little pussy and unignore people who start threads you want to read and try to not let their offensive posts trigger your sensibilities too much.

I haven't been here for a long time, and after recently rejoining the forum, I'm remembering why: The website keeps signing me out. I'm constantly having to refresh after typing out a comment because I can't stay signed in. I keep getting this message "You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again." This is getting to be annoying.

On the old board we were able to add signatures to our posts.  Does such a function exist on this new board?

Hey @Brock Beauchamp, just dropping this here as I'm not sure if there's any other thread for dropping bugs and performance downgrade or whatnot.

The board's been marginally slower to load over the past 12-24 hours for me. It's not a huge deal and everything does eventually load, but it's been noticeable by at least a couple of seconds longer compared to before. This has been true across mobile and desktop.

Just wanted to let you know in case this is an issue that other users are facing and you may be unaware of.

@Brock Beauchamp Not a huge deal, but a few articles keep appearing on the unreads section that I can't get rid of despite clicking into them multiple times.

This also brings me back to a previous suggestion of adding a "Mark Read" or similar button on the items in this section. Since I understand merging the articles and the threads created from them might be a difficult case to handle, I figure this might be an easier implementation on your end.

This has happened to a few people over the past year or so. It always seems to go away before I can figure out what's wrong. Please let me know if it continues beyond 24 hours or so and I'll try to find time to look at it in the meantime.
