Nah, just pointing out how most Leafs fans are still delusional about their team and are now telling themselves "oh we at least took Florida to 7 games" makes them feel better and now is used as a free pass to explain their disappointing Playoffs.

I'm not a Leafs fan. I'm a Panthers fan.

and that's the end of the Marner era.  Not much of a return for him from Vegas.  I was hoping for a more impactful player than Roy.

I do think Treliving did well to resign JT and extend Knies - both below what I thought they'd get (albeit the JT one is a little long).  Curious to see what else he does.

For a sign and trade, that's gravy. He'll be missed.

P.S. Leafs stink and Stolarz and Matthews get hurt, they need to pull their heads oout of their asses, only Nylander, JT, AM34 and McCabe have came to play it seems this season, goaltending has been s***, and team chemistry's a miss. Team defence has been horribad. They're lost.

That was the worst period of hockey I've seen the Leafs play in a decade I think, Habs embarrassed them, lol. Leafs need bodies back badly. 6 regulars out hurts man. Yeah, but that was terrible.

Leafs lost one of the best players in the game and replaced him with pretty much nothing in a division that was rapidly getting better beneath them. 

It seemed pretty obvious to me that was the formula of a non-playoff team. I don't know why more people didn't see what was obvious. 

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch an entire game this season because I have no level of excitement for this team and the few bits I have watched they suck as much as I expected them to. 

The only thing that may eventually save this core is if McDavid decides to abandon Edmonton.
