Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Dubas was better I don't disagree. Many don't feel that way though.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Leafs finally found a dance partner... Timothy Liljegren was traded to the San Jose Sharks by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Toronto received defenseman Matt Benning, a third-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. The Sharks hold 2025 third-round selections previously held by the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche, and the Maple Leafs will receive the earlier selection as part of this trade.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Leafs finally found a dance partner... Wouldn't suprise me if he finally realizes all the potential he has...it just wasn't going to work in Toronto.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Buds back on track me thinks.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 The Habs f***in' suxxxxxxxxx
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 The Leafs said Matthews would miss 2 games at most, well tonight will be game 4 and they play again tomorrow, big fat liars... also Patches to the IR, that geezer was playing well, godammit.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Leafs are still the Leafs Good? Yeah, agreed.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Panic in Bear country, Jim Montgomery fired, that's silly. He's a great coach, man.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 That's weird No burst though So he has the agility or acceleration of a golem Hey knobjockey, how about them Bears.
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Hey knobjockey, how about them Bears. They are old and bad I am not surprised they suck now. I am actually just surprised they managed to be good last year and were so good two years ago. I thought it would all end with Bergeron's career. The Elias Lindholm contract is horrendous.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Good? Yeah, agreed. Playing down to their opponents
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Yeah Bruins look old and meh. Not the power house they once were.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Damn, not Knies too, faaack, Leafs were great from the goalie out.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 Leafs are an infirmary now, hah. 1st in the Atlantic bitches, 20 games in.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 When are the Ducks going to eat a bit of contract, and get a haul for Gibby? Of course I jinx him in OT.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Panic in Bear country, Jim Montgomery fired, that's silly. He's a great coach, man. And he's hired by the Blues, they did their last coach dirty in the news, lmao.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Wow... Switching from offensive to defensive standouts, the Maple Leafs are allowing the fewest high-danger chances at 5-on-5 in the Eastern Conference, as identified by Jonas Siegel of The Athletic. That’s due in large part to the addition of Chris Tanev in free agency, who’s flourished on a shutdown pairing with Jake McCabe to put together some of the best defensive work in the league.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 And he's hired by the Blues, they did their last coach dirty in the news, lmao. The Blues org don't give a s*** about anyone lol.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 When are the Ducks going to eat a bit of contract, and get a haul for Gibby? Of course I jinx him in OT. Meh they are finally showing improvement, currently right in the middle of the league in points % (a far cry from the complete bottom feeder they've been) and goaltending is by far the biggest strength. I'm cool just keeping both unless an actual strong offer for Gibson came along. By the time you eat money to move him and then pay a replacement, may just have made the team worse and for what? One of these goalie starved teams will have to show some desperation
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Knies and AM34 back... Yay!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 The Predators got Annunen and a 6th round pick for Wedgewood, that feels like a song for Annunen? Damn!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 That game got a little hairy at the last several minutes, lol... nice Florida St, trip. Florida's caught fire since beating the Leafs on Wednesday. The bastards, and Carolina need their tendies back like yesterday. Yikes!
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 The Predators got Annunen and a 6th round pick for Wedgewood, that feels like a song for Annunen? Damn! Annunen has been really terrible this year. They had to try and find a more steady backup, because Georgiev has been inconsistent as well.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Annunen has been really terrible this year. They had to try and find a more steady backup, because Georgiev has been inconsistent as well. I know why mate.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Leafs hottest team in the NHL in their last 10 and that's with 2 lines of AHL depth playing for injuries, haha, feels good.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Holy "salary dump" Batman! Gudas and Trouba on the same team, gotta keep your head up
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Leafs hottest team in the NHL in their last 10 and that's with 2 lines of AHL depth playing for injuries, haha, feels good. Faaaack!
