Frag Verified Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I wonder who will trade for Kovalchuk this off-season.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Rangers suxxxxx... congrats to the Sens.
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Ottawa off to the ECF for just the 3rd time ever. It's good for the city to have a long playoff run.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Karlsson best in the world.
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Karlsson best in the world. The way he's carrying the team right now while banged up is ridiculous.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 So if the Capitals win. ... we have a Nations' Capitals ECF. Would love to see a Trump/Trudeau bet....loser of the series has his head shaved.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 That's the most Ottawa thing ever. Certainly not the most Canadian thing. Other Canadian cities know how to have a proper hockey riot.

Other Canadian cities know how to have a proper hockey riot. Montreal absolutely does. Vancouver certainly does. I think Edmonton had one once. Maybe it's an Ontario thing. Has Toronto ever had a hockey riot? Have there been any significant junior hockey riots anywhere in Ontario? The last sports-related riot I can dig up in Ontario isn't even truly sports-related. But it is an awesome piece of Toronto trivia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christie_Pits_riot

Toronto is like an unlit stick of dynamite or a gas leak. All you need is the right spark and I'm sure this city will be up in flames.

But then the reference to Aryan twang suggest that IT IS the Christie Pitts riots so f*** I don't know... It doesn't really add up.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 The Capitals just cannot do two things in recent memory: 1. Defeat the Penguins in a playoff series 2. Get out of the second round
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 And once again the Caps can't get past the second round lol.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 This has to be one of the funniest pictures ive seen http://images.dailyhive.com/20170510101828/connor-mcdavid-awkward.jpg

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 Good. f*** the Pens. Pffffttt.... f*** the Sens.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 Pffffttt.... f*** the Sens. I don't like either but I'm not interested in the same team possibly winning two years in a row.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 At this point, the only storyline remotely interesting in this years playoffs is whether Ottawa can win in Canada's 150th birthday year. And even that is borderline who cares...
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 PK winning it would be sweet. f*** Ottawa--disgustingly boring and unentertaining hockey
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 PK winning it would be sweet. f*** Ottawa--disgustingly boring and unentertaining hockey This... so much this!
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 I don't really follow hockey but PK sticking it to any and all who failed to appreciate him properly feels just and right.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 PK winning it would be sweet. f*** Ottawa--disgustingly boring and unentertaining hockey Karlsson is worth it by himself to watch.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Karlsson is worth it by himself to watch. he's good but nope the Bobby Ryan + Clarke McArthur + Dion Phaneuf + Codi Ceci + Kyle Turris + Alex Burrows power play units = just too much boring and s***** for one man to overcome

And Kyle Turris is one of the more exciting players to watch lol
