    One of those games where every mistake (ump or ours) gets punished. Would be unlucky to lose this one.

    You know what? I just looked at his numbers and in my head his minor league numbers were way better than that lol.

    Dude always seems to hit. Kind of excited to see him get some run. Or at least i hope he does in their major league squad.

    Yea, Atkins couldn’t find swing and miss for several seasons. It was not a good thing for the blue jays. This season they seem to have completely turned it around, that is a good thing for the blue jays. I haven’t had a ton of time to watch games this season so I haven’t been very active. From what i remember, the consenus seemed to be that it doesn’t matter if you get swing and miss in the pen. I’m happy that at least one person is coming around. Good for you, man. In all seriousness, I’m very happy with the pen this year. Looking forward to seeing more games. Today was the first full one. The pitching in general seems great.

    George isn’t, he seems way too happy to be white. Bo doesn’t smile as much and is quite serious, so yea he’s white. We need more serious pros like Bo around. Less lazy smiling bums like springer. I miss Grichuk. Very serious, very stoic.

    The thing is this team could flame out this year and no one going to be like ‘too many stone faced white dudes on this team’ Or our (mostly white) bullpen could have not self combusted against Seattle or white Springer or white Bichette could have not messed up the key play (harsh but true) and we went on to win a world series (cos the playoffs are pretty random). This all seems like nonsense to me. But now there are way more white people around, I expect Bo to f*** up a lot less at SS.

    I’m pretty encouraged by that list. Lots of 40/45 value guys who could pop and/or get traded. This is what a contending team who can draft/scout/develop should look like in the farm imo. It looks like a farm system that could look better at the end of the year too. I also found it interesting that they think otto lopez is destined for CF.

    Yea, it seems like they have us, the yanks and red sox, and mets in a middle group after those three.

    Listening to the mlb pipeline and they did some off the cuff rankings of the NL and AL east farm systems. We were 5th ahead of the yanks and red sox. Kind of surprising. The impression im getting from a lot of different prospect guys is that they seem to like whatÂ’s coming up from A ball and below.

    This could be the most important signing of the offseason. The astros were/are simply ahead of us in a lot of things and this could help bridge the gap.
