  1. Yeah there is lots of potential there for sure, none of it MLB battle tested though. Well, except for Ryu but he'd still be probably the biggest question mark out of all of them at this point.
  2. If Berrios bounces back to 3-4 WAR and they somehow miraculously unlock Kikuchi we should have a pretty damn good rotation. Everybody needs to stay healthy too I guess, because the depth is still not very good, or at least not very proven. White/Zulueta/Tiedemann does have potential to be solid depth though.
  3. Think so? His last three seasons he's only accumulated 0.7 WAR and last season was -0.2 WAR I figured he'd be signing cheap somewhere and then trying to bounce back and prove himself again.
  4. If he puts up another 7 WAR season he'd be stupid not to IMO
  5. True. Although both have nearly identical projections.
  6. I wonder if Conforto would have no interest in signing with the Jays seeing as they already have 3 OFers with KK, Springer and Gurriel? He probably wants a full time spot all gift wrapped and guaranteed.
  7. Kikuchi with the 16.8 K/9 and 2.28 xFIP out of the pen last year could potentially be a weapon, especially if he can cut down on the walks just a hair. It'd be a smart move to bring in a steady #5 like Cueto and then let Kooch work 1-2 innings at a time in middle relief and fine tune things. By mid season he might be a legit high leverage lefty if he can build up his confidence. I still would like to see Taylor Rogers brought in too. Could end up with a pretty killer back end of the pen with Romano/Pearson/Rogers/Kikuchi if everything clicked.
  8. I would love this. Manoah Gausman Berrios Bassitt Cueto Kikuchi White Zulueta Tiedemann Pretty solid starting pitching and tons of depth.
  9. Thanks peeps. It'll be interesting to see how much more they spend. That $233,600,000 number also includes Ryu, and IIRC they have that insured so while they are still over the threshold, they at least have some $$ coming from insurance.
  10. Jays luxury payroll estimate is now $233,607,143 according to FG with the Keirmaier contract. What's the threshold for luxury tax again?
  11. Vlad could replace all of Teo's offense all by himself if he bounces back. And then some.
  12. Nobody seems to be digging Gallo as a possibility for the 3rd/4th OFer?
  13. So it wasn't reported that the Dodgers tried to sign Bellinger after they non-tendered him?
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong but was it not reported that both the Dodgers and Jays tried to sign Bellinger before he ultimately went elsewhere? Then both pivoted to KK?
  15. Sweet Now sign Conforto and Rogers/Chafin FIN
  16. lol I wish you would step back from that ledge, my friend
  17. That baseball trade value site has Jansen/Happ median value set at: Jansen 24.9 Happ 14.9 FWIW
  18. I didn't see anyone do it but the poster I quoted said that people were changing their tunes about Senga
  19. I said I wanted Senga on the Jays, and now that he signed somewhere else I also said f*** him, but I did not change my tune and say I never wanted him anyways.
  20. No point in trading Jansen "for the best starter you can get" Might as well just try to sign one of the free agent starters still available, like Thor, Kluber, Wacha, Stripling or even Manaea as any of those guys are probably better than any starter you get straight up for Jansen IMO
  21. I hope Senga crashes and burns
  22. Is Gallo poised for a bounce back season with the elimination of the shift? Left handed power bat, platoon with Gurriel in LF and do some DHing?
