  1. Fix your f***ing reading comprehension. I said "has a lot to do with luck" not "it's ALL luck" Big difference. Learn to read and comprehend what you're reading before going off all half cocked.
  2. "Most" believe? Haha that's a f***ing stretch if I ever saw one. I'd say most are just fine with what he's done to date. Playoff success is fleeting and has a lot to do with luck. The guy has built a consistent 90~ win team
  3. f*** I hate the yankees. As if Judge pushing our s*** in multiple times per year wasn't enough, now we get him stacked with a prime Soto??
  4. Man am I gonna be annoyed if the Jays miss out on Ohtani and the Yanks get Soto and then also sign Yamamoto..
  5. Hicks is projected to get 3 x $9 million I'd take him back on that, because I'm a sucker for the heat I don't think we need it, but if they have room in the payroll I'd be down.
  6. I honestly don't believe the Jays need to add any bullpen help. 1. Romano 2. Swanson 3. Green 4. Mayza 5. Garcia 6. Richards 7. Cabrera 8. White 9. Pearson 10. Pop 11. Francis 12. Danner 13. Cooke (not on 40 man) 14. Juenger (not on 40 man) 15. Zulueta
  7. No kidding wow. Hasn't pitched an MLB inning yet.
  8. Imagine signing Ohtani to a mega deal, then trading for Soto and signing him to a mega deal as well. Then Vlad and Bo have monster seasons and the Jays trade them next off season for nice hauls and retool around Ohtani/Soto and what would probably still be a top 5 pitching staff.
  9. "That is unrealistic" Go ahead, underestimate AlphA-tkins you bitch Morosi
  10. Brantlley would be a nice fall back option for LF that would be much cheaper and wouldn't cost any prospect capital to acquire.
  11. Haha holy s*** balls
  12. I tend to agree. So does baseballtradevalues.com Hopefully the Jays land Soto no matter what they do in free agency.
  13. If that gets Soto it better get done ASAP haha
  14. Hopefully they could extend Soto, but either way, after landing Yamamoto Id be OK with it.
  15. Of course it's possible the Jays would sign Ohtani and suck, but it's not probable. Look at the Jays rotation and bullpen compared to what the Angels had the last half dozen years with Ohtani and Trout. Then you throw in Bichette, Springer, Varsho, Vaddy and a top 5 catching tandem, all of whom are contributors and not black holes...
  16. Hitting in between Soto and Ohtani is going to really help Vlad return to form lol
  17. This is kind of the way I see it playing out. Miss Ohtani because he was always going to be a Dodger, but then scoop Yamamoto, and use a chip like Tiedemann to land Soto.
  18. If you get a bounce back from Springer and Vlad that top 5 would be the best in baseball IMO Plus you'd likely have a top 5 rotation and bullpen to go along with it
  19. Ohtani signing with the Jays will just be the first domino to fall as this will truly be the off season of AlphA-tkins. Next up will be Yamamoto signing with the jays, then a Soto trade to the Jays cock blocking the pesky Yanks, followed promptly by a Candelario signing.
  20. Please don't 'Yu Darvish' us Ohtani.
  21. You're not just signing him for 2024, and he's not just a DH beyond that.
  22. It isn't that simple.
  23. Looking forward to some Cooke in 2024.
