    You have to wonder where Lantigua will fit into all of this. Last year the guy played 10 games at 2B, 34 games at 3B, 24 games at SS, 39 games in LF, 14 games in RF, 5 games in CF and 9 games at DH all while putting up 130 wRC+ in AAA Or maybe by mid-season Palmegiani will be on the 40 man and splitting time at 3B with IKF

    I don't mind that deal for San Fran with Hicks He's basically making Kikuchi money if he makes it as a starter, and if he doesn't then he's basically making Chad green money as a reliever. I would have been happy with that deal if the Jays had given it to him. At 27 four years isn't a big deal

    Well, if the Jays want to pour the cock to her they can pony up and add: Bellinger 2.6 proj Chappy 2.7 proj Hader 1.7 proj +7 proj WAR but it would cost them like what....$300-400 million or so combined? Plus a lot of pain a few years down the road probably.

    Holy f*** what a pile of horse s*** that article is. Do they not realize that one of the negatives of signing KK was NOT being able to start Varsho fulltime in CF now? Guy is talking like it saved us from Varsho who was as valuable as KK was last season and projects to be better this season, especially if he was in CF full time.

    Good stuff. Obviously the FO is aware of that and maybe even has a good idea why and whether it's a sustainable fix. Their patience this off season tells me they are somewhat confident in some offensive bounce backs occurring, and hopefully Vladdy/Kirk are two that do bounce back.

    I worry about Kirk because he sucked in the second half of 2022 with the bat, and then all of 2023 he was bad too. So that's a season half straight of poor offense. Hopefully he can adjust because his bat was great all the way up the minors and when he first got to MLB
