    I wouldn't mind seeing the Jays go after both Quintana and Bednar from the Pirates if Ryu is indeed FUBAR for the season. I'd say Reynolds too, but that wouldn't be cheap and I doubt the Jays FO has too much interest in paying that price when he's struggling this season and I also wonder how inclined they would be to break up the "Barrio" Ah f*** it. Jays should definitely kick tires on a package for Quintana/Bednar/Reynolds. That's a big fat pile of exactly what they need IMO. Mid rotation / back end lefty starter High leverage reliever/closer with multiple years of control that can miss bats Switch hitting OF with multiple years of control so we can get rid of Zimmer and stop playing Tapia so much

    I noticed that of all our relievers to have pitched more than 10 innings in relief, Richards is the only one with a negative fWAR He's also pitched the most innings... Boy, if you are struggling Montoyo is not afraid to give you more than enough rope to hang yourself.

    I'm still hoping Merryweather doesn't actually suck and figures out how to get fixed. His FIP and xFIP are still decent so there is some hope I think. Plus his short stint in AAA showed swing and miss too (SSS) Plus Mayza will be back soon too I hope

    Yeah Bednar would be a fricken awesome add I guess Rosenthal was throwing 95-96mph at his showcase the other day. Haven't seen much else reported, hopefully he looked good enough that the Jays are after him.

    Kirk has a 153 wRC+ and has been healthy all season He has the 7th most PA's on the team, and only 5 more PA's than Raimel f***ing Tapia lol what the f*** Charlie??

    If Moreno performs, what are the chances that they keep the 3 headed catcher monster rolling with Jansen/Kirk/Moreno? At least for this season anyways... Doesn't seem overly crazy to me.

    That sucks about Martinez. I imagine he was close to getting a promotion when he got hurt, now he might not play again this season.

    If Alejandro Kirk wasn't a short, fat guy he'd 100% be untouchable. He may be untouchable anyways. Are we certain that Moreno won't go back down when DJ comes back? They might be just giving him a taste while they can. I guess if he lights MLB up it'll make it harder to send him back down, but I don't think his call up is necessarily permanent, or a trade of a catcher is a sure thing.

    Moreno is doing fine, but he's not exactly tearing AAA apart. I'm in no hurry to see him brought up myself.

    I'd be happy with both things happening, but I don't see Rosenthal signing with the Jays when he won't get to close very much, and I don't see the Jays trading for Bednar for the same reason. Hopefully I'm wrong on both counts.
