    Yea the career stat lines are similar but they are verrrry different pitchers after this point in their careers. Bauer is an all star pitcher whos made substantial improvements the last 3 years while roark is a washed up shitballer.

    I really dont think it is. DLM clearly had a preference of going back with the yankees with the caveat that they get close to his number which was around 100 million. Jays had the best offer at 4 yr 78 mill which forced the yankees hand to raise their offer or see a divisional rival get their best player from the last two years. Dont think the Jays were really ever in it unless the yankees either completely bowed out or lowballed the f*** out of him.

    Woah thats the first ive heard of them officially saying they are targeting 2 "elite" players. I always thought the plan was target 1 of the elite FAs and get a another 1 or 2 secondary market guys. Damn they must have a lot of cash to blow this winter.
