    Still would love to see us go hard after Eduardo Escobar, although his price might be going up lately.

    Idk....I think he could have been a right mayza. Mayza throws a nasty sinker at 95 and a decent slider nothing special but good enough to get whiffs against same handed batters and Zuech had that cutter type pitch at 88 mph that got some whiffs. Righites wouldn't have much if a chance vs Zoinks sinker if he was able to consistently sit 95 with it. His command was always good enough as a starter, so it's more than good enough as a reliever. Oh well it's not really a move worth crying about at the end of the day.

    Hmm unfortunate this had to happen before we tried him as a reliever. Thought there was something there in a short role after that 1st inning against the Yankees back in June where his velo spiked to 95-96.

    If Merryweather and Pearson come back strong we dont even need to add to the bull tbh. Romano, Merryweather, Pearson can be a nasty combo. Of course you cant really take the chance that both Merryweather and Pearson come back healthy and strong enough to hold up over the last two months. Still gotta go out and get a high end reliever and a solid controllable mid rotation starter.

    Ya, after 2018 when he had his last good season heading into AA in 2019. A case of dont fix what aint broken with him.

    I'm not convinced Hatch is much of an improvement over Stripling if at all tbh. Really surprised Axford hasn't been given a shot though. His stuff must not be matching the results. Missing Manoah for this BOS start is such a let down, after all that momentum over the weekend to be dashed in the span of like 7 batters last night, now we gotta pray that Hatch can pitch well against a tough lineup in his season debut.

    I sure hope so. Not upgrading over Stripling could be the reason we finish 2 or 3 games back of a wild card spot by seasons end.

    So 100% chance after yesterday that we upgrade the rotation right? No way Stripling gets more than 1 or 2 more starts.

    Yea Ray has some red flags but if this is the real Robbie Ray now he projects to be better than Ryu. Id be willing to be that it is.

    4-80 would be a steal imo for Robbie Ray. Hes a legit no.1 on a good team.

    They will probably try to get what Wheeler got but will settle for like 5-100. By all accounts Ray is having a better year going into free agency than Wheeler was but Wheeler projected better and didnt have the red flags that Ray will. Both were 29 going into free agency so 5 years is definitely what they will shoot for.
