    And semien has been better being down in the lineup. This was the most logical move from the start with Springer out but better late than never.

    High fastballs and low breaking balls are Tellez's kyptonite. Dude can become elite if he has a better eye.

    Ya we get it. The only thing that actually matters is his slow leg kick on his delivery. We're just saying everything about his delivery/setup is slow as hell. He better hope the pitch clock doesn't make its way to the bigs lol.

    As long as it doesn't affect his ability to hold runners on, go nuts. If he tried that as a starter, he would be gassed after a few innings for sure lol.

    I think Semien SS, Bo 3B and Biggio 2B is the only logical position swap we can do amongst those 3. Personally I don't think any of those guys can or will play 3B. 3B is usually reserved for bigger players with a great arm and hands. You can help offset your shortcomings in those categories by being elite in another. Can't think of many small players like Bo who have his hands succeeding at the hot corner. Semien is on a 1 year contact who is looking for a big pay day. Last thing he wants is to play a position he hasn't played much before and ruin his value in any way. Would shock me if he plays there in any full time role this season.

    The only thing that sucks about Romano is his setup. My God does he waste a lot of energy unnecessarily. They even have his setup down for The Show on PS4 and it makes me hate using him lol.

    Good points. I was expecting us to have a strong season just to put the league on notice by being strong contenders for the wild card spot. It was only next year I thought the team would have serious world series aspirations. By then we'll know more about our young guys and exactly what this team needs. You'll still have to understand the frustration if players look out of place during the process. Not everyone will work out where they're pegged at currently and this is part of us learning what their potential future outlook might be.

    Agreed but it does help tell you how the player is performing through those 19 games. People are just calling what they see, not trying to make projections for 2023. He is currently playing extremely poorly at SS and needs to get better asap or he won't finish the season there.

    You're a numbers guy, you should have been all over that. Or do you only bring numbers up when it fits your narrative lol.

    This was posted previously in the thread and the popular opinion was that he's on pace to break that number in ONE season lol.

    Don't you talk smack about me after the fact. Do it during or not at all lol. Things I acknowledge for being a broken record about: 1) BIggio is not a full time 3rd baseman and should be batting at the bottom of the order once we're healthy. 2) Bo can be a good SS down the line but is really bad right now. We are putting his needs above the rest of the team for the season if this continues. 3) Kirk over Jansen although Jansen's swings are getting better even if he has no results to show for it.

    Imagine if we trade for Bryant and move Semien to SS. We could have 4 good defenders in the infield...

    I'm not saying he can't be a SS in the future. Clearly the work he put in the offseason isn't enough to be even average at the spot. It's becoming so bad that it might be hard for him to continue there.

    He was so enjoyable to watch man. Sucks that we couldn't put a winning team around him and Delgado.

    Ya he should have come out for the first batter for sure since it's a lefty. But you know Montoyo can't wait to use anyone from the bullpen. We could have a prime Doc Halladay and I'd think Montoyo would use AJ Cole in the bullpen over him lol.

    You should ask yourself why am I posting this. It's obviously because Bo screws up so frequently... Guy has like 10 errors in 17 games. He's gotten lucky on some of the official scoring to have him at like 6 errors.
