    Eden is f***ing fast as hell. Most guys on our team probably would have stayed at 3rd there.

    Ya I like to crap on the Jays a lot but I don't mind that send. Weak fielder who had to make a perfect throw to barely get him. We had our 9th hitter coming up, although we could have pinch hit for him.

    Ya thats where I was going with this. Obviously Devers isn't Bonds but he is the Bonds of that lineup. The drop-off from him to the next best hitter is massive and that's why you sometimes have to throw away baseball 101 stuff.

    Exactly... as a coach you need to start reinforcing Baseball 101 stuff to your players BEFORE play starts so they have a better chance to not f*** up. You can see the 3B coach talk to Vlad after explaining the situation to him. Most of us do this s*** in beer league when we know we have an idiot on the bases lol.
