    When I hear the words run prevention, I'd assume improving your defense in the most important spots would be important. Guess it could be the typical Atkins BS lol.

    That better mean we need to upgrade the 2 most important defensive positions in baseball (CF and SS). The Jays are extremely close to taking the next and most important step... really hope this offseason we address our major needs.

    We paid 3/36 for our 5th starter who was coming off being a turd in the 2nd half of his free agent season... just wanted to respond to your comment about there being worse ways with an precise example lol

    Chapman would have had 40 HRs this past season if not for the balls. Poor guy hit the most warning track shots I can recall from a Jay.

    I honestly thought the Jays would have been on the verge of signing an OFer as soon as they traded Teo. Now we play the waiting game before we decide whether to get out our pitch forks or not lol.

    Well of course I'd like the player who should be better next year but I would settle for Bellinger. Sign me up for players rejecting long term deals for "bet on yourself" 1 year deals. More often than not, these guys have one of their best years the following season. They typically spend the entire offseason focused as hell. Look no further than Ray/Semien.

    Sign me up for Bellinger. Like I said, I care more about above average defense than I do about offense at CF. Find sluggers through the other positions.

    Hurry up and sign a CFer so I can judge the Teo trade properly. Longer we wait, the more that trade pisses me off lol.

    I want to see an above average fielder at CF so I'd rather go after Kiermaier or Bellinger just for their defense and worry about offense from the other spots. As much as I didn't care for Pillar at the plate, I was more than happy with him being our CFer.

    Nope... we've had 7 years and I don't see enough on field production nor do I have hope in our farm system that help is coming. Now let's see how the offseason unfolds... they have another year to figure s*** out. Doesn't help having 33 million tied up to Ryu/Kikuchi.

    Would loved to suffer once we actually accomplished something. Suffering before we even won a single postseason game is hard to digest... especially when you trade one of my favourite players for a bullpen arm with very little track record. Let's see how we use the freed up money and position...
