    Man Keys is making an insistent case for promotion. I have no idea what to think of Harry. He just keeps doing it.

    That last Vlad at bat… I know he is working hard but someone needs to get in his ear and tell him to stop f***ing swinging at trash. He is killing this team.

    I’d guess okamoto and barger covers third? It depends on the read on keys. He is supposedly a very hard worker. If they think he could be a 45 at third and corner outfield by next year, I’d keep him. It’s still a ton of lefties tho.

    Schneider’s biggest weakness is that he does too much imo.

    I think Hoffman would have a market. His underlying stuff is great. And Springer to some degree. Like even a right handed bench bat. Varsho can credibly play cf and is honestly hitting great this season so he would have a market. And then Gausman of course. the only way they sell I’d guess is if they are below 40% playoffs odds and more realistically 35%.

    I do think they will trade Keys tbh. But the trades have been pretty good lately. He had two homers today.

    Jay Harry with a double and a homer tonight. Just on an insane tear. also, Lenyn Sosa had an error and 2ks in his rehab assignment.

    His bat speed is almost the same though. I’m guessing the above examples saw degradation there.

    Yea Vlad needs to become basically Votto strike one and two. Focus in sharply on a pitch he wants to hit and spit on literally everything else. On strike 3c he can let the hit tool eat if he wants.

    I think he’s like a true 70 hit, 80 power, 65 eye so yea I do believe he has underplayed his talent, It’s the approach. It’s always been kind of weak imo. But he also has something mechanical going on or maybe an injury. He basically is such a good hitter that he puts balls he shouldn’t swing at in play,

    I don’t know what is going on with who he actually listens to or whatever. But they need to move him way down the order and tell him his approach is currently trash. Maybe it will light a fire under him.

    Springer has been better lately but there has to be some consequence for grounding out on a ball way off the plate on a 1-0 count when you need a sac fly. Move him down.

    Springer and Vlad need to move down until there are tangible improvements in the at bats. That at bat from Springer was just not a professional at bat. I’d trust essentially anyone on our triple A team to have a better at bat there. He needs to move down immediately.

    This is pretty subjective but I feel like he is taking pitches really well recently. Even compared to the earlier hot streak.

    I think I’d just have big error bars on any evaluation right now. Looks like Nimmala will be back soon, starting a rehab assignment this week according to DM Fox on twitter.

    Yea he is killing it. I feel like they have to move him up. Rojas is also doing well.

    He is on an absolute heater. If he is for real, he would be such a useful player as well. Shaw the Canadian in high A is also on a heater post injury. I think he could easily be at double A by end of season at 21.

    It’s honestly inexplicable. It was a ridiculous decision. I usually hate manager bullpen discourse because news flash they have to use all the relievers, but in this case there really was absolutely no reason not to use a position player. The second absolutely no logic decision in a couple of weeks is worrying

    One of my pet peeves is that teams really underuse the rule 5 draft. So, yes maybe the Rockies should do that. Although, if i was them I’d take pinto back.

    Throwing Rogers in this game was insane. I just don’t get it.

    Teams are so reticent to select position players in the rule 5 that I’d consider this just not a concern. There’s also something going with possibly the ball below triple A, so I don’t know how much I trust power surges this year.
