So the Jays will be playing some 4-5 inning intrasquad games this week to keep sharp. Some members of the Bisons will be coming up to play with them as well. Fans can get tickets to watch.

Agreed, when they moved Berrios into the pen they showed they care more about winning than they do about the player's feelings. And good, that's how you make it all the way.
Anyone who is surprised by this hasn't been paying attention or hasn't been a Jays fan for long. They nearly always underreport the severity of injuries.
Even if she had, does this somehow make firing a gun 8 times into a wall and out a window a valid response? Was he trying to hit the button to open the garage door with bullets? If so the stories that this year was the first time he realized he could aim his pitches might actually be true.
I think you are right and we could see a dialed in Max in the playoffs, especially with extra rest baked in. Unfortunately, the numbers don't back this up though.
He admitted to firing the 8 shots so that definitely happened. I'd put good money on the witnesses not cooperating due to either intimidation or payouts.
Do you know what run differential doesn’t do a great job accounting for? 20-1 thrashings where the backup catcher gives up ten runs that skew it. Or The 4th and 5th starters who may not pitch an inning come playoffs and many other things.
For anyone who is getting Apple TV+ to watch this game, I highly recommend watching the series See while you have a free trial. It takes place in a world where everyone is blind (I guess only umpires reproduced).
This will be the Jays third time facing Houser this year with him handling them pretty well the first two. Hopefully third time is the charm and we get to him today!
I'm also really curious to see how Trey makes out tomorrow facing a team for the second time. The delivery won't be as unknown as it was the first time so it will be good to see if that helps him. I hope they have Kirk catch him this game for some sweet bottom of the zone framing.
I said I wasn't nervous at all a week ago. Now I'm very nervous for what's to come. We went from what should have been an easy clinch and allowing for rest to quite possibly in a wild card spot having used all of our best starter options trying to clinch the division and bye. I am still hopeful this means a heater will come in the playoffs.
Start, end or middle...does it matter? That's not bias. The Yankees had two late series against Baltimore who were anticipated to be the far better team.
It will be interesting to see how they monitor pitchcom being used to tip pitchers and catchers off to challenge....although given their vantage point is arguably the best I'm not sure anyone else would make better recomendations.
