    This is going to be like when we thought we were going to get the Japanese SP that the Red Sox got, the name escapes me. There was even a false report last minute that we had won the bidding as we were all listening with baited breadth. If LAD wants him they will get him. We only signed Ryu since LAD didn't want him. I am afraid there is going to be some serious blue balls for the Blue Jays...

    I really believe we are being used to drive the price up...I just don't see how TO can beat the west coast for a Japanese player. Plus the fact he is already in the LA area... We should concentrate on Soto IMO.

    I think Martinez is highly underrated. The Padres used the heck out of him in different roles. My question would be, were those the right roles. I think if utilized properly, he could thrive.

    Are they going to send them on the road this year?? Jays and Angels only two teams not doing that. It is flat out embarrassing, lowers the quality of broadcast and is the butt of many jokes and derogatory statements reflecting on Rogers/Jays.
