  1. It's kind of absurd how the knives have come out for Santander because of an injury he suffered in the field.
  2. I was expecting a bounce back season based on the assumption that his shoulder was healthy.
  3. FFS it was announced that Santander is undergoing labrum surgery and will be out 5-6 months. Also announced was that Bowden Francis will need UCL surgery but that's a smaller blow given his status as more of a depth arm.
  4. There's certainly a lot of guesswork involved when the before and after photos aren't showing the same pose.
  5. I thought it looks like Vlad is noticeably slimmer, particularly around the love handles is the most apparent. In a perfect world he'd be starting the offseason in the after picture level of conditioning instead of yoyo'ing up and down after every season.
  6. I must have missed that one.
  7. I would have thought you would have learned something about your similar comments about wanting to fire Varsho and Yimi into the sun but apparently that's too much to ask for.
  8. It sounds like Jonn wants Santander fired into the sun.
  9. Are you so soon to forget that Santander was coming off of a 44 home run career season and was only 29 years old?
  10. I'd wager it might be best to see how Ponce's improved stuff and arsenal plays against major league hitters before assigning a defined role.
  11. I was thinking it was more like you're both Sid 😁
  12. That remains to be seen.
  13. I think the home run rate has potentially already returned to normal as Hoffman only surrendered a single home run over September and the playoffs. Of course the single homer came at an awful time though.
  14. I agree that Donovan would be far more than a depth player and he would deepen the lineup nicely against right handed pitching. Baseball Trade Values has him valued at $30 million surplus which seems awfully high as that's equivalent value to Nimmala for instance.
  15. It would actually be more than an extra $32 million once you factor in the 90% luxury tax the Blue Jays would be paying.
  16. I agree that the team almost certainly would not have won the division without Bo, but the post in question is clear as mud which season you are referring to.
  17. Jesus man you are just embarrassing yourself with the histrionics.
  18. Um it appears as though you are saying the Blue Jays aren't winning the division without Bo?
  19. This sounds more like a you problem. There's no need to act like such a victim over such an innocent post.
  20. Ernie has an average 98 wRC+ in his time as a Blue Jay. Steamer actually projects him for exactly 100 wRC+, and as such I have a really easy time seeing him finish a touch above that.
  21. Are you suggesting that the 2026 Blue Jays have no chance to win the division without Bichette?
  22. It seems like the front office just has little to no trust in Schneider defensively at second base. They all but refused to use him there in the world series, and with IKF receiving so damn many plate appearances Schneider was robbed of a chance to be a difference maker.
