    It's a great idea to get your excuses in ahead of time, that way when you lose you can at least say you were right. We have lost Brad Keller due to trade, hope is in short supply.

    Ugly staff on paper, and they have delivered as expected, probably worse.

    Looks like the Dbacks are sending us 300k as part of the deal. Pretty minimal cost to take a chance on high reward acquisition

    Swap out Naylor for Campusano or one of their other better prospects and that seems more likely to me.

    ^ Not just the better player but more team control as well. There's just no way we should be moving any of our best prospects to rent a guy for 13 months.

    I was quite fond of the idea of the major upgrade to our INF defense, but if the price was too steep for a rental so be it.

    Adams career K rate is rather absurd, but Munoz is still the better relief piece here. It's not tough to see why someone may covet Nola but damn did the Padres ever pay for him

    Musgrove with just three starts before going on the IL with a tricep injury, can't help but wonder if the injury was nagging him further back than that last start.
