  1. It's just another example of the conceit I keep talking about, you genuinely thought you could sell this group of people on the value of 6th round picks. We've all been through dozens of these drafts, long before you got here, and those picks often aren't even used. Making a bad offer is whatever, but putting yourself on a pedestal to offer us perspective on why your s*** offer is good- that's going to get you laughed at, sorry.
  2. A 4th, 5th and 6th is probably fair for one of those third rounders, so you're basically offering two 6ths for the other 3rd. No cringey sales pitch on the value of 6th round picks makes that any less terrible.
  3. Wouldn't mind scooping up an extra pick in this current range in exchange for one next year.
  4. We'll take SS Maximo Acosta - TEX
  5. Speedy's pick is on the sheet so I think we are good to go. LHP Shane McClanahan - TB
  6. Don't believe everything you hear, Florida is in perfect shape.
  7. Terrible time for his career to unravel, he was just getting to the real money, over half of his career earnings came from the start of last season to now.
  8. That is a worrisome transformation to say the least, hard to believe.
  9. For 2020 that's about as optimistic as we should get
  10. Good to see the Shoe back today!
  11. If it doesn't work out with the Orioles, I'm sure they'll keep dogging some other teams until someone takes the bait
  12. You are posting in a public forum and I only ever respond to the contents in your posts. If you don't like it, that's your issue. And sorry which part are you claiming inaccurate? You just joined that league in this off season, and within a few weeks felt it was your place to try and decide who was fit to be a manager.
  13. Would never come into any league and ask for changes, but will come into a league and write a rambling essay about why Hurl is unfit to be a co manager. Weird compass...
  14. It's a lot more exciting than last year's opening night roster though - heading in the right direction.
  15. Snorucki didn't crack the opening night roster. Bodes well for the improved pitching depth, still likely will see him at some point this summer.
  16. Standing on your tiptoes is hard on your calves
  17. Day to day with a leg contusion
  18. Beautiful ballpark. No doubt our players would feel blessed to play there rather than a minor league stadium.
  19. Plans A, C, D, E & last but not least - F
  20. Just to clarify, on your formal college essays you would use "couldn't give a f***", but on the street you choose to use the slang version "could give a f***"? Hmm I don't know, seems a lot more likely that you just had it wrong.
  21. Remains an awful attempt at a nickname. Reads aloud as "A sucky". There's no wit or play on words there, it just doesn't work. To be fair, he's a lot more likely to end up sucky than an ace.
