At one point (before the team in front of him completely unraveled), Gibson had the best career save percentage of any goalie who had played 100+ games, ever.... Easily one of the very best in the world and of this generation. If he didn't play in one of the smallest hockey markets, Gibson would be as highly regarded as Price etc. Perhaps the only other goalie who can be considered his team's franchise player
