Both seem like they are being propped up by their strong teams right now, has definitely never been the case for Vasi prior to this year

Georgiev is up to 30 wins, with an outside shot at pushing the single season record (48) with 24 games remaining. Yet he's currently sitting below a .900 SV% (.898).
  3. The new pants are just an easy way to detect HGH usage
  4. Maybe they are trying to appeal to different demographics
  5. They can't be serious with these pants. The 2024 MLB season, brought to you by Huggies.
  6. Anderson may have only been considering one year deals with teams where he would be the starting SS. Seems like the best path to recapturing the value he lost with his atrocious season at the plate in 2023. Rosario has never played any 3B in the bigs, and graded as a terrible SS defender last year. Hard to say what he'll be moving forward, but we definitely don't need another light hitting 2B type. Based on the purpose for which IKF was signed, neither of those guys was likely an option. If you are specifically looking for the 3B defense and versatility, you are definitely much better off paying IKF than either of those guys.
  7. Are they also going to look like they were made out of mesh laundry bags?
  8. He's only 34, so likely choosing to hang them up early due to lack of MLB interest, rather than riding the buses in the minors or heading overseas. Hopefully that helps you feel slightly less old
  9. Hosmer announced his retirement and said he will focus on his new venture "Moonball Media".
  10. They point out that he's throwing to live batters while making no mention of the dead one he ate
  11. His arms look disproportionately small compared to his head but could be camera angle trickery
  12. Devers looks out of shape, also very clearly unhappy with the BoSox inactivity.
  13. Had yet to even make his pro debut, that is a weird move
  14. HBP in seven of his first eight college appearances during their season opening double header. A young Reed Johnson
  15. Quote them, I enjoy reading interesting quotes
  16. Pinto is the only catcher on their 40 man at the moment. Must have been a busy day for him today. But one clear spot they could go out and upgrade, depending on what's out there.
  17. I had a few bucks on him to go under par today haha was a boost on 365

Greig as a rookie is at 0.5 points per game, +19 on a below .500 club and he's a rare throwback who plays with a true edge. He's going to have a long career as one of those guys you love to have on your team and hate playing against.

Yeah that's gotta be at least 2-3 games, even for a first time offender. A shot to the head that long after the play is done, not able to defend it as a "hockey play". Grieg is a s*** disturber, he knew what he was doing. Rielly took the bait, got himself suspended. Should have just dropped the mitts, Grieg would have obliged.
