    Brebbia has been on the midnight train to Memphis a lot this year, several times he's been sent down to bring up a fresh arm. Yes I mostly just chimed in for an opportunity to use that phrase.

    Jon Gray has been called back up to start today against Seattle, although it may be more due to injuries than whatever f***ing plan they think they had for him.

    On the bright side, no one from my list has been sniped yet.

    I guess it makes more sense that all MLB service time is counted as such.

    Gray struggled with command in his most recent AAA start and the report said not to expect to see him back with the big club any time soon.

    I like the idea, but you'd still probably run into years where the Orioles don't have anyone deserving to play in either game.

    The Cubs farm is mostly garbage so I can't imagine not being underwhelmed by the return if they acquire Happ. Even then I'd say that's a very ambitious suggestion by the Cubs guys. No one from the top 10 of a farm system like that? Obviously kidding themselves. I'd say the Cubs lack both a high end quality prospect, and also the depth of quality required to beat out other teams for Happ. Perhaps if they packaged together of one their two arms from last year's first round, plus an interesting lottery ticket (Lange/Little + Amaya) maybe that beats out the Yankees/Brewers etc, but those teams seem to have way more to offer.

    Yeah I'm definitely to going to snag whoever you are targeting at #24 with the pick ahead, something to think about when making your pick at #10 or even #3 to be safe.

    I'm promoting Verdugo, keeping my remaining eight prospects and using my first four draft picks.

    I wouldn't mind using pick #31 to try and move up in the first round if possible. Other pieces I can move for pick move ups (get your gifs ready Spanky) include Ender Inciarte (tied for MLB lead in SBs), Shane Greene, Rich Hill, Mark Reynolds.
