  1. I can't recall anyone hyping anyone on that list other than SRF as having more than back end starter potential. That's not really hype at all, maybe the odd person with a pet prospect. Nothing about posting a list of pitchers with solid upper minor league stats and suggesting we are starting to build some DEPTH should cause you to react with "c'mon man you're better than this". You do realize MLB teams will often need 10+ starters over the course of a season, and that obviously they're not all going to be world beaters? The point was that we're at least building some depth of our own at the position and shouldn't have to spend money on crappy free agent gas cans to fill out the 5-10 spots on the depth chart.
  2. Sample size, no one is adjusting their expectations just because you say he threw 10 straight balls one time. What are you even reacting to? He didn't say a good word about any of them...
  3. I'm still offering Hans Crouse for a pick. Wasn't he in Die Hard?
  4. A good example of why I never post anything on the internet
  5. Hans Crouse is available for a pick
  6. Thanks but I'm not even in my top five
  7. If Leonard won't sign, will there be another big free agent to chase next summer?
  8. A Word document would likely suffice
  9. I have long loved that version
  10. SS Marco Luciano (SF) 1(13) OF Trevor Lanarch (MIN) 1(16) CF George Valera (CLE) 2(23) 3B Nolan Jones (CLE) 2(31) SS Marco Luciano (SF) Sent a PM to jaysblue, my draft is done. P2F?
  11. f*** I'm stuck with just my phone right now so I'll need a minute
  12. Looks like you were just squeezed for space
  13. Are you not a Nolan Jones fan? Just went back and saw that you were the one who dropped him
  14. Not that I've seen, but he hasn't pitched since the 4th. Anyway I find him to be one of the more interesting prospects out there outside of the true high end guys, just because he's so ridiculously unique. Reports have him well over seven foot now , yet his best attribute is being able to repeat his delivery and command his average offerings to generate a ton of ground balls - and tons of projection remaining to possibly make the stuff play up further because he's obviously lanky as all hell.
  15. < ----- Kyle Young
  16. I was considering him for my next pick, seems like a similar vibe to early breakout Sixto
  17. I will use a second straight pick to draft a Cleveland prospect who has already previously been dropped in this league......3B Nolan Jones Sending a PM to AG now
  18. Awesome stuff, I watched a few clips today and almost had myself convinced to take him before Lanarch, bat speed looked off the charts.
  19. I require your review of my draft picks as always
  20. So just to confirm, he was indeed available and I used a first rounder on a prospect that was dropped?
  21. Nafro could just send a message along with your next garlic shipment and then you wouldn't have to bother hurl
  22. See below, yes it was vital to also include Spanky's quote
