  1. Hurl gets Shane Greene I get his MILB 2nd (+ Michael A Taylor)
  2. Well the rest of the group voted me Nicest Poster (tied with P2F) so if I'm insulting you it's probably because you're a bit of a softy. Also I'm suggesting a ceiling, not an expectation if that makes you feel better. Not sure why anyone would be up in arms over suggesting bat first utility ceiling for Biggio. Certainly better than analyzing anyone over 10 pitches.
  3. Definitely would think that's the plan
  4. Granderson and Solarte, perhaps another reliever or two. Wouldn't be shocked if their contemplating some big Stroman offers
  5. Feels like a safe and unexciting return unless they have reason to really believe Drury has break out upside remaining in his bat. I get that we weren't going to pull a top prospect, but it's tough to not come away with any of those high upside arms who could really come back to salt their onions down the line.
  6. McKinney doesn't turn the needle much for me. Really hoping that's not all and we're getting one of their very many intriguing young arms.
  7. Are people not allowed to stop by on their way back from HF?
  8. Lol yeah Atlanta definitely takes that one. What I should have said is that the Yankees have the most interesting group of SP prospects who aren't already household names - the type of guys we're probably looking at for a Happ rental
  9. So many interesting arms, can't think of a system off hand with more.
  10. Not sure what you're hoping for but I doubt we would be getting one of their current top prospects If Drury is included. Contreras and Garcia are likely the two most intriguing young SP prospects that aren't currently at the top of their list. P2F pointed out last night that there's a belief among scouts that Contreras will soon be top 5 in their strong system. Gallegos would step right into our pen and has real K potential. I thought about adding another solid prospect but let's not pretend Maile has much value.
  11. Wouldn't expect them to return much, but there are levels of value between this return and "zero".
  12. Roansy Contreras or Deivi Garcia + Drury + Giovanny Gallegos for Happ & Maile
  13. Move them while they have value, try and buy low on some interesting blocked guys to replace them. Rinse and repeat.
  14. Aw looks like gbill is desperate for any type of attention again
  15. He seemed to find his stroke in High A this year and earned a promotion to AA, hopefully he starts hitting right out of the gate for NH.
  16. I highly doubt they turned away better offers so it would seem that the issue here was that your expectation was overly ambitious.
  17. A) The Rockies have a s*** farm darn near devoid of interesting pitching prospects This return is solid for a vet reliever we signed to a dirt cheap deal just a few months ago. No one was ever going to give us a top prospect for him
  18. Steve Pearce - bat first utility guy who will give you solid D at 1B and below average 2B and LF (assuming he can play LF)
  19. I was talking about myself but that works
  20. Wearing down requires substance
  21. Not in this league though, never
  22. Can we still acquire slot money?
  23. Their farm is so bland, I'll hold out hope we managed to get one of the few good pieces. They are pretty dumb...
