  1. I highly doubt they turned away better offers so it would seem that the issue here was that your expectation was overly ambitious.
  2. A) The Rockies have a s*** farm darn near devoid of interesting pitching prospects This return is solid for a vet reliever we signed to a dirt cheap deal just a few months ago. No one was ever going to give us a top prospect for him
  3. Steve Pearce - bat first utility guy who will give you solid D at 1B and below average 2B and LF (assuming he can play LF)
  4. I was talking about myself but that works
  5. Wearing down requires substance
  6. Not in this league though, never
  7. Can we still acquire slot money?
  8. Their farm is so bland, I'll hold out hope we managed to get one of the few good pieces. They are pretty dumb...
  9. Give us good old Gary Hampson with this other guy
  10. Sounds like a good target, without them having to give to part with any current top prospects.
  11. They have a whole whack of those intriguing young arms. Package up a pair of them with an MLB ready reliever to replace the outgoing and you have a solid return.
  12. Deivi Garcia, Juan Then and Giovanny Gallegos
  13. Seems like the top Happ suitors have some interesting blocked relievers that could make for a nice throw in piece. Could probably use an arm or two of that nature if we are going to be shipping some out for lottery tickets. Gallegos from the Yankees always comes to mind
  14. Even if Beeks tops out as a fringe #5 or depth arm, the Rays have done well with their original investment.
  15. If they could build the deal around Mejia that doesn't seem so bad.
  16. Ironic because at this point you just basically are a Garrett Cooper poster
  17. This would be true 2+ years ago , he's as a wildcard at this point and shouldn't fetch any of their top prospects.
  18. Digging deeper for a lottery ticket addition, Jean Carmona seems like an intriguing athlete despite early struggles.
  19. I'm stockpiling young talent/future assets
  20. Also willing to move my MIFs... Murphy and Simmons
  21. If contenders are looking to bolster their depth for the stretch drive, I have some pieces that won't break that bank. CF Ender Inciarte - among league leaders for SB 1B Mark Reynolds - get him before his next 10 RBI effort SP - Tanner Roark, Rich Hill & Sam Gaviglio CP - Shane Greene
  22. I'd take on Altherr to see if he can bounce back to last year's form
  23. So you're saying if I meet someone from Panama, I shouldn't refer to them as a Pomeranian?
