  1. I wouldn't mind using pick #31 to try and move up in the first round if possible. Other pieces I can move for pick move ups (get your gifs ready Spanky) include Ender Inciarte (tied for MLB lead in SBs), Shane Greene, Rich Hill, Mark Reynolds.
  2. I agree, but on the other hand, the name sort of applies now more than before.
  3. I have an empty spot so I wasn't planning to cut anyone. But if it makes life easier I could just send P2F a zero value piece to drop.
  4. Confirmed. Also still need Roark transferred my way on Yahoo whenever a commish has a chance.
  5. I found him sort of insightful but also boring and monotonous.
  6. Tough reference to apply without having a clue how tall you actually are. Is he closer to the 5'9 he was listed at when we signed him?

Yeah if they're not talking Klingberg or Heiskanen I fail to see any other young talent that would beat out what Vegas and others can likely offer.
  8. Is there a team out there that could be after both Happ and JD (+ Tepera etc), increasing our chances of pulling a true high end return? Philly immediately comes to mind, lots of talk of wanting to upgrade at 3B, and could be motivated to upgrade their rotation and keep the rest of the NL from the top available SP, also have the farm to make it happen....
  9. We would also get the extra draft bonus pool money to play with from adding that pick which is something to consider, but I too believe that we could still get more via trade.
  10. These days it seems like the scouts are only sure about one or two kids being able to stick at SS in each draft class and everyone else is questionable for one reason or another.
  11. When is the cut down deadline?
  12. The Sox were really working their counts last night too, I think Scherzer was up over 70 pitches through 3 innings.
  13. During the Sox/Nats broadcast they were discussing stories (apparently confirmed by David Price) about Max Scherzer demanding that his teammates sign non disclosure agreements if they wanted to watch his BP sessions to pick up tips.
  14. Outside of Hiura some of their top guys seem to be having down years. Still enough there to put a good package together though. Until then let's all dream about adding Hiura's bat to the system.
  15. "The Baltimore Orioles have been painful to watch this year, and there's no reason to have hope when looking at their bottom ten farm system and inexplicable indifference to the international market". I wonder if they're hiring editors.
  16. Trading him for a 1st + 3rd was one of my first moves in the LoD and most people thought it was terrible value for me, so f*** all of those people.
  17. Ryan Goins DFA'd, hope they checked with Jake Junis before making that move
  18. If that's the case I stand corrected, but I thought I read that he was making rehab starts prior to the suspension being up, which wouldn't make sense to me.
  19. Doesn't seem right to me. Should be ineligible to pitch in the minors until his suspension is served, period.
  20. Should add that I wouldn't mind packaging these guys plus picks/prospects for a better player who happens to be injured, if that should appeal to a contending team.
  21. Shane Greene is available, should continue to be a good source of saves. Also can move Rich Hill who looks better since returning.
  22. Last I read they were both expected to be available as part of this summer's IFA crop. Sounds like the older brother (Victor Victor) should be pretty legit, tough to find much info on Victor Jr.
