    Making his first start with the Blue Jays tonight. I'll start 4.2 Innings Pitched 6 Hits Allowed 3 Runs Allowed 2 Strikeouts 2 Walks And I will set the over under at 4.5 swings and misses. And I will be taking the under.

    So maybe we just never start Berrios on the road again. It sucks that the first mega deal the franchise has given a pitcher has gone this poorly in Year 1. He looked like almost a slam dunk to be a solid #3 for a majority of that contract. You don’t see the people calling him an Ace last season post much anymore lol.

    Also I just realized Mitch “f***ing” White isn’t even on the MLB Roster. He was optioned and placed on the Taxi Squad lol. f*** I hate that trade.

    That’s why you can’t give up on him. His changeup is disgusting when he locates his fastball. That’s been the biggest issue compared to last year. He pitched way more effectively up in the strikezone last season. And his numbers are inflated due to some horrendous outings. But all the other numbers you look for in a great relief option are there. Hes the kind of guy that could be one of the best relievers in Baseball the first half and wouldn’t shock me at all. I just hope it’s with us not elsewhere

    This is Bass's first appearance since July 28th. Not overly worried. Guys like him are better the more they pitch.

    That is true. But I am looking at it from a variety of different factors. Hes sliding down the lineup. Hes obviously not having a very good season. He rejected a contract extension in the off-season. The Jays have to make big finanical decisions soon. And one of them is if they want to lock up Bo to play Shortstop for the kind of number hes commanding because clearly the Jays didn't meet it the last time and are they willing to exceed that based on his performance this season. They can't sign all of them. Decisions on the core are coming soon.

    Tim Beckham still plays. I had no idea he was still in the League.

    It's probably because it doesn't matter that much. The Jays have shed the fat from the Bullpen. If Trevor Richards is deemed your worst reliever you don't have a lot of problems at the moment. All these guys are rested. All of them need work.
