    Yea the Blue Jays bullpen wasn’t even close to being competitive enough for post season play. It was laughably bad when you take a look at the arms coming out of pen for other teams.

    This. I don’t give a f*** what team wins if its not the Blue Jays. Padres vs Guardians would be cool though.

    Cardinals have like 3 or 4 relievers that throw 100+ I will take Hellz Bellz and the reliever with the second highest K rate in that group as a good starting point.

    I really hope they don’t tender him. Just cut bait and move on. He doesn’t even have any value even if they were to try to flip him.

    Or trade him now while his value is at premium and impact the roster in another key area. You have a great Catcher in Jansen who they honestly prefer Catching anyway. And you’re young Star Prospect under his wing who can make starts at other positions. The other advantage is never having to clog up the DH slot. You can rotate the DH more freely.

    Kirk is the easy choice for me. I like him but he has shown no commitment to improve his glaring weight issue. Guys like that tend to not hold up very well. The wrong side of 30 starts at 28 for him. He has far and away the highest value to secure the best return. And we go into next 2 season with 2 Athletic Catcher’s behind the plate.

    Needs to be completely revamped focus on the Bullpen. Velocity and swing and miss. Shouldn’t even look at anyone who is striking out less than 10 Strikeouts per 9 IP. No contact bullpen. Ideally you want a couple guys in the 12 range.

    Rodon is certainly the more realistic target. Plus younger. Obviously I would love to have De Grom.

    Team has so much talent but to many weaknesses. It’s going to be long off-season.

    The Bullpen was the story the entire Season and not ever for a good reason.

    This started with the decision to remove Gausman when he was more than capable of finishing that inning. And far in away the best option.

    I just can’t believe they allow the umpiring to be this bad. Its so embarrassing for the sport.
