  1. I mean if we winked at you. Might have been implying something else. Missed opportunity to take him back to the Hotel room.
  2. Been saying Biggio should get reps in CF for 3 years.
  3. The rate Vladdy was hitting homeruns last year. I think a lot of us would have him in the mid 30’s right now no? Like Judge has what 46?
  4. So Chappy tied Vladdy for the team lead in Homeruns with 23. If I would told you going into the season that Chappy tied Vladdy in Homeruns on August 13th. How many of you guys would have guessed that number was well North of 30?
  5. Now I just need to stop forgetting to post half the time : )
  6. Vladdy - 2 Points - Jays4life19, LTBF Bichette - 4 Points - JaysAllMighty Kirk - 4 Points - P2F Chapman - 4 Points - Jonn Hernández - 4 Points - Stangstag Gurriel Jr - 8 Points - Dylan Jansen - 8 Points - Omar Espinal - 12 Points - Tapia - 16 Points - Off the bench: 20 Points -
  7. Yea I would agree with that take. In a short series they are still dangerous. There’s also still time to figure it out collectively.
  8. I feel like this team will make the playoffs. But I’m also not that excited about it. Does anyone else have a similar feeling or something wrong with me lol. It just seems like a team with this kind of talent should take off but most guys are having down years.
  9. Cal Quantril isn’t even bad. He’s just boring lol.
  10. This f***ing guy is killing us bro. Atleast Austin Martin sucks. It makes it easier to swallow.
  11. If its not to late I will take Gurriel.
  12. The good news is he’s definitely going to be healthy by the time his suspension is over. The sad news is how his career has started plagued with injuries and now this. Hes one of those guys with the talent to be an all time great but may struggle to stay on the field.
  13. Arizona is an incredible place to live. The heat there is perfect. Its never humid. It also has a little bit of everything. You can get a taste of wild life and if you miss the city and fine dining a lot of Downtowns are beautiful, brand new, and well taken care of. Would highly recommend. If I were to relocate to the States it would be #1 for me. Ofcourse everyone has their tastes.
  14. I feel the players should be playing a tax for getting to play in Canada. America has some real s*** hole cities that I would never consider living in even if I was making more money and paying less to live there. Like in the Summer playing Toronto if not the best city to play and live in. It’s easily Top 3. San Diego and Arizona would probably be the only rival for me.
  15. Yes and give him an MLB deal and the most money to get it secured and done.
  16. I would like to think he’s way more in line with his career norms. Its not completely untypical for any player to just have a bad season. It’s just unfortunate it comes in Year 1 after they handed him the largest contract in franchise history. We certainly need him to perform as #3 consistently going forward. He’s definitely show glimpses of being his former self and best self. Those pair of 13 strikeout games come to mind. That’s why his season has been very frustrating.
  17. Yes dude ERA. When you’re giving up a metric f*** ton of runs it matters in winning and losing Baseball games. The dude has allowed an American League leading 24 homeruns. 130 hits. His overall numbers and advanced stats down across the board. I don’t know why you’re sitting here defending him. Even he would tell you he hasn’t been good enough. You can’t just cut out of bunch of his starts and say outside of this time frame or these moments he’s been good lol. This conversation started with me saying hes been the definition of inconsistent. Which is exactly what he’s been. One of the dumbest arguments I have ever had on this message board and that’s saying a lot. Getting paid what he is and how he’s performed this season is flat out unacceptable. Plain and simple.
  18. All of them not the window he pitched well and throwing out all the garbage in between. The dude’s literally rocking an ERA over 7 on the road this season.
  19. Considering the results he’s had this season I don’t think hes lived up to anyones expectations. He’s being paid to be one of the best Starters in the American League. He’s arguably been one of the worst. I’m not saying to give up on him. This could just be a blip on the radar. But nobody can honestly say they feel confident with him on the mound right now.
  20. Even God didn’t want to see the Jays get swept out of town tonight.
  21. I didn’t choose to ignore them. I just look at the full body of work. He has been extremely inconsistent all season. Every time you think he’s turning the corner he gets his s*** kicked in
  22. Why are you so angry? Chill out bro lol. He’s been absolute dog s*** the vast majority of the season. Gives up majestic homeruns
  23. He was pitching better especially in July. But he’s been awful in August so far.
  24. Track record doesn’t apply when all his career numbers and advanced stats are at a career worse across the board. Even with his 2 monster strikeout games. All his swing and miss numbers are down as well. He has been the very picture of inconsistency this season despite being very consistent for most of his career.
