    That’s a pretty bad error by Jansen. But the umpire needs to be way quicker and demonstrative making that call. Partially on him. Sucks to be trailing a game on an error. Even worse when its throw that didn’t need to be made.

    Just got home from work… excited to watch the game. First thing I see is this horid jersey and my eyes are already bleeding.

    It’s possible pitchers are challenging him with fastball because he has looked finished for years. But I doubt pitcher’s are purposely serving him up meatballs. I remember the Homerun he hit at Rogers Centre and thinking wow that looked like early 2000’s Pujols. Since then hes been absolutely destroying Baseball. His numbers were not very good when the Cardinals came to town in July.

    I seriously think Pujols is juicing to finish out his career lol. Up to an .866 OPS and putting up his best numbers in a decade. Yes a literal decade since hes put up even an .800 OPS. No shot he’s having an insane resurgence like this without help.

    He doesn’t have the power to profile in an Outfield corner. Second Base makes more sense. But he should catch. It doesn’t necessarily need to be here.

    Sinker floats perfectly under the uppercut swing of most hitters. Probably why hes getting peppered all over the diamond lol. He definitely needs emphasis on a 4 seamer.

    Trade Moreno. He has the most value and our Catching situation is already fantastic.

    Hopefully its ditching the sinker. He has good stuff. That pitch doesn't work well in the current game unless it has insane late movement.

    Not sold on this Pop dude at all. He just gives up way to much contact for me to have any confidence in him.

    Espinal is absolutely no threat vs RHP. Easy decision to pitch around Tapia even though he sucks as well

    Maple Leaves fans are probably the worst in all of sports. Entitled, obnoxious, terribly fickle. Negative and crying all the time. Easily the worst in all of sports. My decision not supporting them growing up was definitely not wanting to be apart of that terrible fan base.

    I don’t like any of these changes. But looking forward to the creativity of working within the limitations of the shift. I still think it’s absolutely stupid this has to happen. You should be able to put players wherever you want on the field.

    Hopefully it’s someone like Danny Jansen’s heroics is what they needed to spark this team down the stretch. Been waiting for this team to get going all season. September is the best month to get hot.
