  1. We both know that’s not happening lol. People have been weirdly defending him on this board despite the results and projections. But I digress.
  2. Been saying it all off-season the team projects better without Santander in the lineup. Especially if Santander is playing Defense. With that being said considering the contract they gave him and his potential homerun power it’s pretty awful were at this point. We’re going to be looking at 2 lost Seasons.
  3. If he had a full labrum tear I’m assuming this was a gym injury. If it’s on the throwing shoulder he won’t be playing Outfield this year if he comes back. Which I doubt he will anywhere near 100%. I would have to think this just happened because no way they put it off this long.
  4. Well atleast we won’t have to watch Santander play the Outfield this Season. That signing is vomit inducing.
  5. A lot of people wanted him go back to the Dbacks. Interesting that it didn't happen. Yankees are trotting out mostly the same team as last year.
  6. I'm kinda shocked Bassit hasn't signed anywhere yet. But you would think we would be more into him over Max. But would welcome them both back in a back end role. I am assuming there is legit injury concerns for both Bieber and Berrios for them to be so active in the Starters market.
  7. Honestly I loved Buck. He had a lot of hilarious moments. Butchering names or going on rants that made no sense. But he was "our" nonsense guy. And quite frankly the booth was better with him in it. Just as the color guy not play by play. Dan and Buck were always great together. Wish him nothing but health and success and hope we will see him in Toronto from time to time.
  8. Honestly happy the Tigers are choosing to compete. Would have been so easy for them to take an insane offer for Skubal from the Dodgers and justify it. He probably still goes there in the off-season but oh well.
  9. Varsho is just frustrating to watch hit and Yimi is injury prone only issues with them. I don’t like one dimensional players like Santander: I have always been consistent with that. You guys don’t like that. I continue to not care lol.
  10. Hey I like Jeff Hoffman. He was great in the playoffs. That little midget barreled the only mistake of that inning. Blue Jays lost that game for many reasons outside of just Jeff Hoffman. Countless opportunities to add on runs and win the game late.
  11. I will do no such thing. Geno or Santander. Who would you rather have right now?
  12. In a perfect world yes.
  13. Why what does this have anything to do with Baseball? Do you think they spent it on Kyle Tucker instead lol?
  14. I don’t think Santander gets a one year 15 million dollar deal right now regardless of age. He might be 4 years younger. He certainly doesn’t look or play it. Had every injury under the sun last year.
  15. I mean I would take Valdez as a pure rotation upgrade and keeping him from a team like the Orioles. But realistically unless Bieber is not healthy the team already needs to move a Starter. So it doesn't seem like a natural fit. But considering the team offered Kyle Tucker $35 million they clearly have some juice and if you can't add the bat you want spend it on another pitcher and figure it out later. Especially if Valdez is willing to go short term.
  16. I don't give a s*** about the age of a player who is signed to a one year deal lol. I just think its crazy Geno got that in comparison.
  17. Spanky he is signed for four years.
  18. I hope Santander never lets his agent pay for dinner again in his life. After what Geno got it’s crazy what he got last year,
  19. That would be a massive overpay Sir Spanks a lot.
  20. We need a left-handed reliever badly, Rogers twin just went for $2m.
  21. Bellinger fits in nicely with the doesn’t like to strike out and defensive versatility. He can rotate through 1B and the entire Outfield. I don’t think I want to see him signed for more than 3 years. But apparently he wants long term and values that more. So if he is going to be a Blue Jay I think at the minimum they gotta meet the Yankees at 5-years.
  22. Now time to steal Bellinger from the Yankees. Add a left-handed reliever and call it an off-season. We willi miss you Bo. I don’t blame you for taking that contract. But the compensation is nice,
  23. Yup I knew it. Dodgers don't let things leak. I knew when all the talk was Mets and Blue Jays. It was the Dodgers in the background the whole time.
  24. I think things are way to noisy on the Blue Jays front and dead silent on the Dodger front. Which makes me think he will be a Dodger come Friday.
  25. I don't know why anyone would want to sign with the Mets that organization is a complete dumpster fire. But if someone offers you 50 million a year it would be hard to say no. If that offer is real and he hasn't taken it it would make me think he won't. Like how short is short term. 3 year 150 million. Shorter? Like especially with opt outs or not. Craziness.
