    Bullpen overall has definitely been a nice surprise. When Sandlin returns it'll be even deeper. Tons of strikeout stuff in the pen and that's been a real problem in recent years. Starting pitching is still up and down, depth isn't great right now. Offense has been looking better, Vlad is still frustrating to watch even though he's hitting okay. If Springer can keep it going and if Kirk has suddenly remembered how to hit again it will be huge for this team. Barger is a key player suddenly. Toolsy. What's real and sustainable and what's not I don't know but his potential can really lengthen the lineup and boost the offense. Kid has big dick energy.

    We need an Amber alert for Auston Matthews. His goal scoring rate falls off in the playoffs. He's almost invisible in many games. Leafs have no chance to win a cup with Matthews producing like this. Dude just has to produce more. It's especially sad when you see other premier players step up in the postseason.

    A. That's not true, every fan base is the same. B. If they only complain when management decisions go poorly that's just hindsight. I actually didn't see an issue with any of his pitching decisions today. They were sensible.

    I'm not sure how this Mariners team has been winning so much lately.

    Nobody is demonizing the entire country, their President is a disaster and an a-hole. Generally I've chosen to stop going there in order to not support their economy, but the Pacific Northwest is no fan of his anyway. P.S. Nice comeback win.

    I honestly don't think he looks any different. He always had the ability to run into one from time to time but he also has some giant holes in his swing. Same ones he's always had.

    Well then they did an excellent and entertaining job of fixing them.

    Second round is off to an incredible start. I hate both the Knicks and the Celtics and hope the earth opens up beneath them and swallows them and Madison Square Garden into the Earth's core, but that was an exciting game. Denver and OKC was just nuts. Pacers winning was also cool.
