    That's a bit of a soft lineup towards the bottom especially as Clement and Schneider are not the same hitters against righties. I understand it given the circumstances but oof. Good to see Gimenez is good to go.

    I wouldn't disrespect the Angels, not only have they already beaten us this year in a series but they've been generally surprising. Also, it's natural to have a let down after an emotional series like that. Got to keep them in the ballpark, that's what they do well. The good news is we are getting the back three of their rotation. Hopefully we stay focused.

    If Hoffman can go he has to go. There's very few times where I would ever use a pitcher four times in five games but this is one of those times. If he dies...he dies.

    I don't think there's a chance that he's going six tonight. If he can give us five with a chance to win, that's a success.

    Are they still booing the US anthem? It seems that all that talk has settled down lately and that hasn't really been happening but I haven't really noticed either way. I didn't notice it during the Canada Day game. If they didn't do it during the Canada Day game they are absolutely not going to do it July 4th.

    We might have to score another 10 plus runs tomorrow with the bullpen we're going to have available. I don't really have a lot of faith in Bassitt against that lineup. If it rains, leave the roof open, tell them it's a technical problem with the gears and have the game postponed.

    So how's everyone doing? Heck of a game. You didn't really think it was over at 8-0 did you? Too much game left to go, and Berrios is unfortunately capable of laying a stinker at any moment. Losing this game is going to suck hard for somebody.

    Well if you believe advanced metrics, not really that even at all. In fact inning for inning, Warren may be their best starting pitcher. Walks are his biggest issue, so yes, patience and grinding out at bats may be key.
