    If Berrios gets his tits lit up tomorrow, and there's definitely a good possibility that that's going to happen, this board will be in full meltdown mode.

    Boy you are extra grouchy. Baltimore can hit, and so they are hitting, we haven't done enough against their pitching. Besides, outside of their terrible start they have been a slightly above .500 team. We also aren't getting the breaks that we were getting before. This series did not set up very well for us, although this game did. Besides the injuries eventually catch-up. We keep asking bit players to do too much

    You're never as good as you are when you're riding high, and never as bad as you are when the Baltimore Orioles are kicking your ass.

    Most of our starters are mid. Except for Laurer, for as much as you want to trust him, and maybe Gausman but his last couple of years have been closer to mid. It's not a bad rotation but it's an extraordinarily ordinary one. If that's the plan it's a very bad plan.

    Well there you go! Thank you Chad Green for your service and eating up another garbage but necessary inning for us in game 1. The rare interdivisional trade, hope this doesn't bite us in the ass down the line, but beggars can't be choosers, it's a nice pickup.

    Ignore every f***ing rumour. I don't read any of the rumours, I don't listen to any of that crap, it's just noise. Don't you people ever learn? Until there's an actual trade nothing matters.

    Yeah this series looked like it might be a problem before it was even played. Then after all the pitchers used yesterday and Springer getting beamed in the head it started to look like a much bigger problem. I said before we're going to have to score runs against Baltimore to win and we're not doing enough.

    You know that whole rule is clear as mud to me, but I think because once he got the ball he would have had time to step into that spot anyway it's okay. As long as his Lane was not blocked without the ball and it wasn't.

    There's been a lot of over management and way too much cute ******** lately. I'm not against small ball but these f***ers are really overdoing it.

    I've been saying for a while that pray for Manoah might end up being a big part of the plan.

    Injuries are catching up. Baltimore has a good lineup, since their terrible start haven't they been a couple games over .500? We have to score runs to beat this team and our lineup is getting weaker by the day. We're in a very tough spot at the moment.

    So already no Kirk, I'm guessing no Springer at least for today and maybe more. Heiny will certainly split the games. Going to be a couple of ugly lineups.

    Maybe I'm just a dinosaur, but I pretty much hate the world and everyone in it at this point.

    I was kind of hoping for two leverage relievers and a starter.

    I think you may be misunderstanding me, I'm not anywhere close to suggesting the pitching had been good enough but in fairness Scherzer was very good yesterday, if we had mounted any sort of offense throughout we would not have put in our white flag pitcher to help put that game out of reach. Green will be gone soon anyway. Today was total systems failure for the pitching, I understand we lost because of the pitching. My point is our offense hasn't been great the last couple of days and in general we're going to need to score runs against Baltimore.

    Context is key. We did nothing for eight innings yesterday and then scored off of a scrub. We had plenty of opportunities against pitching that's not very good today. Today wasn't so bad and we got a little unlucky at times but we still should have scored more. Baltimore is going to hit, that part of their team is not broken right now, we're going to have to score runs.
