    Well Garcia is one arm. Depending if you want to have a long guy like Estrada that could be another. Otherwise unless it's someone like Fluharty putting his s*** back together again, yes they probably would have to acquire one more arm to replace both of them.

    You keep making yourself look stupid, I have actually defended him on several occasions but you're a f***ass who doesn't actually pay attention, you run with your own narrative and then you create your straw man ******** and then come on here and look like an idiot twice in one thread. Just quit while you're behind. I don't really criticize Schneider much at all, probably as little as anyone on here.

    Yeah but he was working much harder that game and that's the Yankees. He was cruising against the much easier lineup.

    Actually I rarely if ever have wined about Schneider's bullpen usage, I'm one of the few that rarely does, so of all the times to call me out you pick the most idiotic one. Good job f***ass.

    I'd rather he go another inning than risk burning a bullpen arm. You were counting on Pina to not give up three or four runs in three innings. I know it's Chicago but he's a very mediocre pitcher. There was always a good chance he would give up those three or four runs and force us to use another arm. It's not like Berrios has ever struggled with fatigue, he probably gets through seven in around 90 pitches. Just got too cute there going one inning too early.

    He got a little too cute with that one. 7 runs and three innings with a guy who is not expected to be a very good pitcher.

    Well the upside is that we now know we probably don't need to see anymore of Pina, probably ever again.

    I personally would not have pulled the plug that early, I would have given him the 7th and see how it goes. He's got the All-Star break coming up, he's a durable guy to begin with.

    Game is becoming unnecessarily closer. And every time we have a chance to really pull up that run differential we give back a few unnecessary runs. Yes I know it doesn't really matter but it matters to me.

    Human nature is a thing. Agency problem is a thing. I absolutely believe that teams avoid trading within their own division and I certainly believe people are petty. It's just the way it is. Since AA took over Atlanta there hasn't been any trades between the two teams according to Spotrac. The only other teams the Blue Jays have made no trades with since Atkins took over is Detroit and Baltimore. Three with the Yankees, two with Boston and one with Tampa. This is with over 100 total trades. It seems clear that they don't deal with Atlanta since AA, and very rarely deal in the AL East.
