Twice for six games. Like most divisional opponents they have two series in the first half and two series in the second half.
The only divisional opponent we haven't done that with is Boston, we got three of our four series out of the way with them in the first half.
He should be better. He should be hitting with a lot more power. He has been a disappointment relative to his talent. That's the bottom line. Some of us are perfectly fine with who he is and others will never accept this version of him. That's just how it seems to be on this board.
The fact that he takes two strikes swings with fewer than two strikes, and the fact that he's constantly late on fastballs. That shouldn't be happening. Somebody with his talent and bat speed should not be late constantly. He misses cookies way too often for his talent level.
His home run totals are way too low for the number of at bats he gets and his raw talent and power.
I think on that play his teammates have to yell instructions to him because he's watching the ball and the broken bat. But they probably don't give a f*** at this point.
Assuming reasonable health, depends on what they do at the deadline compared to other teams and it may also depend on what Manoah looks like when he returns, especially if they don't get a frontline pitcher at the deadline.
