  1. This.
  2. Connelly Early is an option.
  3. That keeps Judge from being the tying run.
  4. That could have been a malfunction at the junction in that outfield.
  5. He can turn it up when he wants. I'd be more concerned about him being a mental midget at times.
  6. 🧁
  7. If it was somebody other than Weaver, but I'm just not a fan of Weaver in that situation. I'd rather stick with Fried and take my chances. Yankees bullpen has been facing some cupcake teams lately, giving them a false sense of effectiveness.
  8. Seems to know how to do it better than the Yankees manager did.
  9. We can't completely discount the possibility that Chapman at Yankees stadium in the postseason doesn't revert to some strange mid version of his past self.
  10. Williams is easily better.
  11. Nah. Not with the options he has.
  12. Hallelujah! Granted, they have the back end of the bullpen that they don't have to push it. If Yankees had a Whitlock type to go to in that instance, pulling Fried would not be as much of a problem.
  13. This ridiculous new age thinking that 100 pitches is some maximum. Totally fake nonsense. They'd have been much better off letting Fried continue to pitch. He was cruising.
  14. Yikes!
  15. He'll face Duran.
  16. On one day of rest? That's nuts. I guess if they have no regard for his arm health.
  17. But they've said no surgery and no structural damage. So it's probably pain and swelling
  18. Crochet and the back of that pen though. That can hand them two wins right there. I don't know. I don't have a rooting interest. Just hope they beat on one another.
  19. So you're rooting for the Sox?
  20. I think they will take whatever they can out of his bat. He's one of the few guys in all of baseball that can hit good pitching, and the one thing you're going to see in the postseason is a lot of good pitching.
  21. Yeah, I know. It hurts I'm sure.
  22. I'm not sure who has uglier fans, NY or Boston.
  23. What happens when Kirk gets on base? What happens when Stanton gets on base? You deal with it because you love the bat. If he has to be pinch run, you do it later in the game.
  24. Tin foil hatted to suggest free agency is playing a role? There is nothing more based in absolute reality. People get too romantic about their athletes, there's no question these conversations are happening between him, his agent and his family, including his dad. To think otherwise is not living in reality.
  25. Would it? If it's just pain? Bo can get hits with his upper body alone. He was barely running for any speed prior to the injury so not much lost there. Kirk Gibson hit a home run off Eckersley with NO legs under him. I'll take a one and a half legged Bo Bichette any day.
