That's what I keep telling myself.

Damn I actually like him. I don't know how these freaking bans work, will he be back soon?
  3. Masterbather
I don't know why he's even on the roster. Maybe someday he'll hit a pinch hit home run that wins us a single game and I guess they will feel like that justifies his waste of a roster spot?

What the hell? You got a problem with economics majors?
  5. Masterbather
Forget arbitration, we need some trade value from this guy.

Manager has to stick to the plan. Nothing else matters, it's all about the plan. Any deviations from the plan could conceivably create a tear in the space-time continuum and destroy us all.

No Jano and Manoah on the mound. Hopefully it's at least competitive. I love watching baseball on a Sunday afternoon so I hope it's not over in the first couple of innings.

It's not a terrible idea. He does get on base, he doesn't steal, in fact he'll probably run himself into some outs. But he's not really hitting for power so we don't really miss that aspect of his bat in the heart of the lineup. Then have Schneider and Jano somewhere between 2 and 4. At least we can start looking forward to the top of the order from time to time because it's been slim pickings.

Are there even any mothers on here? If there are, Happy Mother's Day!

Our first base slugger is a singles hitter.

Now you can never say I'm not a real fan.

Big comeback to avoid the sweep.
  13. Masterbather
It would be nice if he can go on a bit of a heater and recapture some trade value.
  14. Masterbather
Am I dreaming? We may not see something like this for another 5 years considering the rebuild.
  15. Masterbather
    Case in point.
  16. Masterbather
Can we just bat Schneider and Jano on loop and forget the rest of the order?
  17. Masterbather
With the way our assets are devaluing themselves, nobody's going to want them.

What else is left to say?

I appreciate the pitching. I might enjoy it more if it wasn't happening against this team almost every game. So yes, zzzzzzz.

Well they were. They had enough talent where it mattered, front of the rotation, back of the bullpen and some studs in the lineup. Pfaadt started to emerge in the postseason and that gave them that key third guy in the rotation. If you have a front three, a back end, and a few thoroughbreds in the lineup, you have a shot.

84 win team with Gallen and Kelly at the front of the rotation, Ginkel and Sewald at the back and Carroll, Marte, Walker in the lineup. They had real talent.
  23. Masterbather
Hey a win. How about that?

It's over, the emperor has no clothes.

I'm not assuming he will end the year where you think he will end the year, particularly offensively, and teams don't pay for defense. Not the way you're expecting. They pay for offense and they pay for frontline pitching.
