  1. Guerrero plays better D when he's not pouting about his hitting
  2. Manoah won't even report to pitch. I'm guessing he won't respond well to weight comments
  3. When the season is over, management needs to write a number on a piece of paper. Communicate to Kirk that if his weight isn't below that number in April, his playing time may be affected. I would do the same to Guerrero, but that's never going to happen
  4. The icing on the cake is that Atkins has turned the organization into exactly the same bloated payroll with bottom tier farm system that Shapiro yelled at AA about. Except he at least constructed the best team in baseball before he left.
  5. Kikuchi dominant, he just might make it through 6 innings
  6. I love how Buck is 200 years old but still gets passionate about September baseball
  7. Yeah you're right, we should rehire Montoyo to come give everyone a big hug
  8. This is a releasable offense. What are Davis Schneider, Horowitz, and other young players at AAA going to learn from this? How much clubhouse tension will there be between the goofs like Manoah and the professionals like Bichette and Varsho? Do you think this will encourage Kirk and Guerrero to work on their conditioning? Shapiro, Atkins, and Schneider need to take a look in the mirror and take control of the organizational culture they have created. If they need any help, look at the Braves organization and how they discipline Acuna versus how the Jays "discipline" Guerrero. Or better yet, send Buck into the clubhouse for a week. Manoah is out of control, but Atkins' limp wristed response by covering it up is a much bigger problem than optioning one s***** pitcher.
  9. Jays have like 1% chance of winning this game. Kirk and Bichette are at highest risk of breaking down
  10. Get Kirk and Bichette out of there. Give Swanson the 9th so he doesn't get thrown into leverage coming off injury.
  11. If Schneider wasn't carrying us to 4-3 victories over last place teams we would honestly be out of a playoff spot today. Atkins needs to buy Schneider a ferrari or something this offseason, he may have single handedly saved his job.
  12. Buck is about to spray his pants with all this small ball
  13. Analytics is right yet again
  14. Berrios is dominating and doesn't get pulled. Schneider managing like a normal person today.
  15. Making decisions regardless of results is what analytics is about now. The front office decides on reliever usage before the game begins and sticks to the script. It doesn't make any sort of adjustment based on real time performance on the field.
  16. Buck is correct about analytics
  17. Watch Greinke drop a gem on us with 87 in the zone.
  18. Guerrero is a drama queen. If he actually felt sick he would roll around on the field screaming and drawing attention to himself.
  19. People honestly thought that the front office was "figuring out" where to assign him. The guy hasn't thrown a professional pitch in a month, even the Angels aren't this incompetent. Do the tests to shut him up, then it's time to come down hard. Management has completely lost control of the clubhouse.
  20. Schneider getting a half chub thinking about getting Hicks loose
  21. Get Green in there to continue getting comfortable
  22. Biggio's oSwing% is like 0 this game.
