Is 95 MPH really "plus" in relief these days? Obviously movement, spin and control factor in, but if you're saying that based on pure velocity, I'm not so sure (unless you think 95 now means 98 when he matures). -
Jays take Matt Shannon in the 12th Round. My only hope is he's not related to John Shannon.

It's not - Tellez has typically been a slow starter, especially when moving up to the next level. This slow start seems to be much longer than the previous ones (unless my brain is now making s*** up again). Fingers crossed he figures it out, but it's hard to watch Bellinger tear the NL a new hole while Tellez can't hit his weight in AAA.

I find it very frustrating that Tellez can post better numbers than Bellinger in AA at essentially the same age and then proceed to lay an egg in AAA this year, while Bellinger is taking MLB by storm.

Look - I don't give a f*** how you want to spin it, but Chris Davis put up a 7 WAR season while being a high K% 1st baseman. That's valuable AF.

2013 + 2015 Chris Davis would beg to differ. Miguel Sano + even Aaron Judge to some extent would beg to differ

And none of those guys sniffed the 168 wRC+, 7 WAR season that Davis put up. You should have gone with Ryan Howard. At least he put up a 162 wRC+, 5.9 WAR season once.

IIRC, Stroman was highly ranked, but slipped (presumably because teams were worried about his size and whether he could remain a starter). I don't remember him being a "safe" pick. Jon Harris was similar TBH.
