  1. "Last time it was all breaking balls from Moylan" You mean except those 2 fastballs down the middle Tabby?
  2. Tepera. Bullpen savior.
  3. ffs Jr. Has Zeke been working with him on D?
  4. Love me some DSJ. Happ has been utterly dominant the past 2 or 3 starts.
  5. Great try DSJ. Tabby...he wasn't going to tag up in score on that. You have to tag up to do that f***tard
  6. Looks like he always did to me. But he did have a lot of injuries with the Braves so maybe he changed his arm angle a bit?
  7. I must have missed the discussion on Urias being out for 12-14 months. That is just awful for baseball.
  8. Is there anyway to save this video off twitter? (have mercy on my old, non-technical ass please)
  9. Just realised Brendan Rodgers was hitting .400 in A+ ball this year (he's been called up to AA now) with a 2.7% BB% (6 walks in 222 PA's). It's damn hard to hit .400 with a .417 OBP. Does this raise concerns about his approach? or when you're that good in A+ ball, you just hit everything in sight and never walk? 7.1% BB% last year in a full season of A ball.
  10. I've asked a few times about him. Everyone talks about Palacios, yet he's been s*** and Olivares has been very good this year at a similar age.
  11. http://i.imgur.com/u4mntvN.gif
  12. His punctuation is awful. He probably should stay in school.
  13. This offense is a complete dumpster fire outside of JD, Martin and Smoak (god who would have ever thought we'd say that). Outside of them, we'll be lucky to get another player over the 1.5 WAR plateau. Unfortunately, I don't see much changing the rest of this year or next year (where its probably unlikely Smoak will be this good and we should expect more decline from Martin, Tulo, etc.) - outside of maybe Pearce tearing it up (if he ever gets healthy). Jose is a shell of his former self. Morales is what he is. Travis may never play a full season. Pillar's defense and base running is declining (and he still can't hit). Good pitching will only take us so far. I'm not sure even with JD that can actually compete this year, let alone next year without a lot of good fortune.
  14. I completely agree. I attended 2 playoff games in 2015 and 2 more in 2016 (including the EE walk off wild card game + a game with my 6 year old son that I'll never forget). I got to be a 12 year old kid again (in a 35 year old man's body) and the winning helped ingrain the love for Blue Jays baseball into my son's soul. I wouldn't trade those experiences for the world.
  15. Even better - stupid Score.
  16. My score app says he's an impeding FA?
  17. Steven Vogt will be DFA's by the A's. He would be a nice upgrade over Maile.
  18. If you look at the current game numbers, it provides an updates on his season numbers right below it. That's what I was looking at when making my very accurate observation
  19. That is one awful lineup. Excited to see what DSJ can do though.
  20. I'm sure that has nothing to do with his attempt to finish the season with the highest FB% in MLB history...
  21. JD - that was an absolute cannon across the diamond...what a boss.
  22. Actually Pearce hit better than Jose last year and as of right now has been better than Jose this year.
