    What was it last year? I mean I agree with saskjayfan. We all kind of agreed that Rowdy needed to get his BB% > 10 and his K% < 20 (like his minor league numbers) to develop into a 120 wRC+ hitter (which is probably required for him to stick in the majors). The SSS BB%/K% is encouraging this year. Encouraging enough that Joe f***ing Panik should never start a game at DH Charlie.

    Big uptick in velo the past 2 years. He's averaging 98 MPH this year v. 95.5 MPH in 2018. Also - now throwing strikes.

    I never realized how good Christian Vazquez was last year. Like Danny Jansen, he's a f***ing stud if his wRC+ is around 100. I always liked Vazquez.

    Bundy's fastball has always been super hittable. So far he's dropped it's usage way down (43% last year, 33% this year). It will be interesting to see if the Angels can unlock potential. He's velo is below average now so I'm not holding my breath.

    Question about the new rules. If a pitcher comes in, faces 1 batter and gets the 3rd out of the 7th inning....and then comes out to face the first batter the 8th inning - can he be taken out after facing the first batter of the 8th inning (because he technically finished an inning) - or must he face at least 2 batters in the 8th inning (3 total)? Thanks in advance.

    Shaw has? 193 wRC+ and 0.2 WAR in 2 games. What are you talking about? We need Shaw back. If he returns to 2017-18 form, he's a legit starter and part of our short term future at 3rd base.

    I think Shaw signed with a verbal agreement he would be a full time starter (and not platooned). We are probably just using the pair of lefties as an excuse to give him a few more days to ensure he's 100%

    I have to believe there were commitments re: usage (pitching and hitting) in his original agreement that the Angels have to fulfill (unless they can get his buy in to scrap the pitching).

    Perhaps mentioned earlier (I just tuned in and logged on after watching Ghostbusters with the boys), but Vlad has changed his stance. Hand starting much lower. Couple of dubs will help the confidence.
